Red & Blue and Eevee GX Glitch?

    Posted: 03 Nov 2019 06:26 AM PST

So Red & Blue states you can search your deck for a pokemon gx that evolves from one of your pokemon. 2nd and 3rd turn still not able to use the supporter on my active Eevee GX. So I'm guessing this is a glitch.

Relentless Flame still the best theme deck?

    Posted: 02 Nov 2019 08:06 PM PDT

Saw some posts from a couple months ago that suggested Relentless Flame is the best. With the new sets that have come out, is this still the case?

I just had this match and i'm a little annoyed at the fact people play decks like this and it's perfectly allowed. As you'll see, this guy managed to win the game on turn 1 basically, without me ever playing a single card. ****** Deck List Generated by DeckBox ******

This deck is really fun! Basically use octillery, exeggcute and the ultra balls/comp search to have the right amount of cards in your hand every time. The spread one is the best most of the times. The 130 damage nuke + choice band is a nice finisher after some spread + shine. The confusion attack is definitely the worst one and you'll never use it unless you are desperate and you need to slow your opponent down.

It is basically a poorman's archie's stoise, but hey it's Kricketune, he is way cooler than Mewtwo

Edit: Mr.Mime could be a nice improvement to stop people from spamming acerola, i am still figuring it out though

Jirachi -EX suddenly jumping in price?

Is gem regirock worth getting for a deck?

    Posted: 02 Nov 2019 11:27 AM PDT

I've seen the gem regirock (ancient trait) used in a few decks and it's clearly powerful in the right situations, but I question if it's really worth getting to make a deck with online. What are your thoughts about it?

Decklist Idea: Trevenant & Dusknoir GX

    Posted: 02 Nov 2019 09:16 AM PDT

I've seen a few variants for TrevNoir on the web, mainly those using TT Pheromosa & Buzzwole as an energy accelerator. These still require 2 turns for a complete set-up, and it may be a bit shaky at times due to bad card draw.

I've got a decklist for TrevNoir, and would like to ask you guys for your opinion about it. The deck, though takes 2 turns for set-up, it is (in my opinion) more consistent as it uses less variables for energy acceleration. Tried using Welder + Rainbow Brush, Non-GX Pheromosa (free retreat, no need switch) + Energy Switch as energy accelerators, but the consistency is really low for those 2.

    Decklist:

****** Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck List ******

    Pokémon - 11

    • 4 Misdreavus UNB 77
    • 3 Trevenant & Dusknoir-GX PR-SM 217

    Trainer Cards - 40

    • 2 Chip-Chip Ice Axe UNB 165
    • 4 Mysterious Treasure FLI 113
    • 2 Power Plant UNB 183
    • 4 Pokémon Communication TEU 152
    • 2 Steven's Resolve CES 145
    • 4 Dusk Stone UNB 167
    • 3 Rainbow Brush CES 141
    • 2 Reset Stamp UNM 206
    • 3 Lt. Surge's Strategy UNB 178
    • 2 Energy Spinner UNB 170
    • 4 Green's Exploration UNB 175
    • 1 Jessie & James HIF 58
    • 4 Pokégear 3.0 UNB 182
    • 2 Mina LOT 183
    • 1 Stealthy Hood UNB 186

    Energy - 9

    • 7 Psychic Energy SMEnergy 5
    • 2 Fairy Energy SMEnergy 9

    Total Cards - 60

****** Deck List Generated by the Pokémon TCG Online www.pokemon.com/TCGO ******

Edit: Thinking of replacing 1 Energy Spinner too

Second edit: for those who don't know why chip-chip ice axe is in there, when the opponent has 0 cards in his/her hand, it is time to mess with their deck. But sadly could be rekt hard by a bunch of Jirachis
