Tournament stress. Posted: 08 Jan 2021 03:52 PM PST I'm fixing to play in my first Pokemon tournament ever for the Team-Up challenge this coming Sunday. I've got two decks that I have been playing with and I'm extremely on the fence as far as which to pick. Also looking for help and opinions on either deck and suggestions. Shred my deck to pieces if you want lol, i won't take offense. First deck list is my dark deck. I've confidently gone into matches against adp, reshiram, pikarom, and have held my own and won a solid bit. It's nice knowing that i can withstand a GX from reshizard. With black market it in play its not as costly as your typical Vmax, which lengthens everything out nicely I think. There's times where I'm burning through my deck effectively and its nice, other times where I feel like I'm lacking and struggling for cards. Mad Party decks is typically a close call but end up losing. Suggestions and/or advice. So far my overall W:L is 35:70 on this deck. I feel like theres times where this deck shines and i draw really well and I'm able to get out my boltound early enough and get him loaded up and enough electric energy in my discard for tapu, have either pika or the raichus out and get everyone loaded up by turn two. Other times I just feel like I draw crap hands and it is what it is.
