    Giving away some deck codes!

    Posted: 13 May 2021 09:06 PM PDT

Hey everybody, it's been a while since I did a giveaway here! I've got some PTCGO codes from the Hidden Fates GX tins that are redeemable in-game for complete 60-card decks. These were leftovers from a recent event, so I was hoping to find some players that could use them!

    To enter:

    1. Share your favorite PTCGO Card and tell us why!

    2. Include in your comment whether you'd prefer the Charizard, Gyarados, or Raichu deck.

I'll pick some winners within 24 hours. Thanks and happy playing!

    M-ADP-arty

    Posted: 13 May 2021 04:43 PM PDT

I know this is going to be terrible but I really want Mad Party + ADP to even kind of work (mostly because of the name). I don't have ADP so I can't play test it, but am curious if anyone else wants to or has ideas on how it could work. I'm thinking mostly a normal Mad Party build, plus some energy spinners, metal/water/aurora energy, and turbo patch...?

i wanna get into the game, but i wonder if its fun, and if someone that is new to the game can make meta decks without having to buy stuff in the game, or grind nonstop for weeks

I’m just getting into TCGO-What’s the best way to upload Card Codes? I’m playing on an old iPad Air…….

    Posted: 14 May 2021 02:01 AM PDT

Unfortunately I have been entering the card codes manually-how the hell do you use the QR Codes?? I have HUNDREDS of cards to enter, and there has to be a way to use the QR Codes other than copying the code…….

Which new features should be implemented?

    Posted: 13 May 2021 12:11 PM PDT

I have been thinking about the scope of PTCGO in terms of available features (in the client)

I would like to know what features you think should be added to the game in order to make in grow.

For me, it would be a tournament maker feature which would expose an API for external organizers like Limitless. Everything (decklist submission, check-ins, judging) could be done within the client itself.

How do I deal with the people using powerful V, VMAX, GX, EX and Mega cards in standard versus?

    Posted: 13 May 2021 11:53 PM PDT

I am a beginner and I have seen people use powerful trio cards or other in thier decks nothing else making it difficult for me to win. My common strategy is to just do damage as they require a lot of energy to attack but I still cant win. Please suggest any strategy or and new deck or booster pack for help. My current deck is Relentless Flames.

Any advice on this Vikavolt/Ray GX deck?

    Posted: 13 May 2021 10:29 PM PDT

I recently made this deck, and it's been pretty consistent so far, but it still feels like there are more ways to better optimize it. Any suggestions? I can answer any questions people might have on some card choices too. There is a reason for every card, but I am open to suggestions.

The idea is to use Vikavolt and pull energy from the deck rapidly to boost the attacks of Ray GX, and it's worked really well so far.

Getting the support card for beginners?

    Posted: 13 May 2021 09:33 PM PDT

As per title. I have just started this game and rekindle my love for Pokemon.

Looked up some interesting decks on the Internet that I want to play with...then realizing I am missing a lot of support cards such as scoop up net, quick ball, etc.

What's the best and fastest way to get them? Should I buy boosters IRL, trade? Etc

    Thanks

What's the point of basic cards?

    Posted: 13 May 2021 12:10 PM PDT

What's the point of basics and normal evolutions when there are Vs, Vmaxs, GXs, tag teams. Is there nowhere I can play normal card decks outside of theme?
