    I know it is used in a hand disruption deck, but it was weakened significantly when milotic was banned. Yet, all I've seen is it continually go up in price. Why is that?

    Theme deck player that wants to get into Standard, do I keep the free Mewtwo & Mew GX and build around it?

    Hello all! Im new(ish) to Pokemon TCG Online, Ive been playing theme decks exclusively for a few years now. Basically my daughter got into collecting a few cards and I wanted to be able to teach her how to play one day if she ever asked.

    I have been on and off for a few years so my collection isn't vast. I've done a little research into the standard metagame but I've never even piloted a non-theme deck and from what I can tell even budget standard versions are much more streamlined and play differently.

    What I want to know is should I actually turn these free Mewtwo & Mew GX cards into a standard deck around them? It looks like a fun deck, but based on what I have it may be difficult I just dont know. I have a small handful (3-5) of packs and I can get 12 more with the points I have saved. Im open to other suggestions for getting into standard also (including a small monetary amount if needed.)

    Places to practice other than tournaments

    I don't have a lot of time to play in a tournament unless it's Saturday. So idk if you know of other places where I can practice against other people and get feedback. Something like discord servers. I'm currently playing tempozard but I think I'm making a lot of suboptimal plays. I don't know exactly what I'm doing wrong so having that post match feedback would be awesome.

    Ever getting a real update?

    I use to play back in 2015 and pokemon tcgo client was OK but still not great.

    Me and some friends got back into it last month and can't help but notice.

    There were so little QOL upgrades if any. Everything looks and feels exactly the same as 6 years ago.

    Am I just spoiled by arena, hearthstone, and runetera?

    Mainly wondering if there is a road map or something on updating the client and most importantly, the trade market

    If there is one. I wasn't able to find it. Hoping someone here can shed some light on this for me.

    Edit: my idea I was thinking about last night.

    Every code from a RL pack would just put 10 point into your wallet. And then there is a store where you can buy packs for 10 points and then can use these point in the trade market which is a lot easier to trade for since so many cards aren't worth a whole pack.

    This would either not effect or raise prices of the codes for LSGs so they can sell older codes as in this system. All pack codes will give 10 credits.

    Eternatus V: Power Accelerator bugged?

    I think the Power Accelerator is bugged. It does not let me attach a hiding darkness energy. It is not stated on the card that it has to be a basic darkness energy. Meanwhile with Bronzongs Metal Transfer i am able to transfer a coating metal energy. Both only state a x Energy, but not a basic energy specifically. Bronzong's Metal Transfer works for coating metal energy - Eternatus Power Accelerator does not work for hiding darkness energy.

    Expanded Rotom

    I'm currently having fun in Expanded with my version of Rotom. Wondering if any of you guys want to help me optimize it.

    Visual list

    I feel like the deck can compete in the current meta and is quite unique. There are some similarities with Night March and Mad Party in that it's a single prize attackers decks that requires some setup being achieved in the first 2 turns. After that, you have nice attackers with low hp. The bonus here is that you can hit for weakness in 6 different elements without having a single energy in the deck.

    On the downsides, the deck is weak to an early lock (Rowlegg with Vileplume item lock or Corviknight Honchkrow with Silent Lab), has to dedicate deck space to handle specific threats (Pokemon Ranger for ADP, Chaotic Swells for Silent Lab...) and its damage cap isn't impressive when you can't hit for weakness.

    Some changes I consider :

    • Rotom Mow has been underperforming. I'm not running a lot into Grass weakness and the special energy removal is sometimes relevant I guess but not great.

    • Alolan Ninetales on the other hand is excellent, it's my way out of many locks and one-shots ADP like a champ. I want 2-2.

    • I might get rid of a Guzma. It's great but more often than not it sits in my hand and clogs it when I just want to use Oranguru.

    • Maybe replace a Sophocles with a VS Seeker. Not sure.

    • I think the tools count is fine. 1 or 2 higher would be nice but I can't find room.

    Any thoughts?

    Is there a bug with Crobat V?

    So I'm playing against Zacian Luc Metal and my opponent had nothing on the field stopping Crobat V from drawing on my turn. My turn comes I play Crobat V as my only Pokémon and I don't get a draw option

    Are decklists from sites like limitless outdated or am I just too bad to pilot it?

    I've been trying this japanese tournament winner mew3 deck, trades the cards for it and I can't seem to make it work. The deck seems to be all in on mew3 but the current meta just oneshots it or swaps it out or denies abilities. Whether it's urshi or fire decks. So I thought that the decks might be outdated but the deck has Galar Zapdos which is a card from the next set that is already out in japan. So the deck should fit the newest meta but I struggle haes with it.
