Has there been an account reset or anything?

    Posted: 15 Dec 2019 07:20 AM PST

Returning player and I cannot for the life of me get into my account, I have tried recovering username and pw so many times and the account I finally recovered seems to be reset to lvl zero and most of collection is gone, it may be possible that this is a different account and I will have to try to find my lost one.

Or was there a reset? which wouldnt make sense since i spent money to get some of those cards :( any info helps

    New player questions

    Posted: 15 Dec 2019 02:20 AM PST

I started playing about a month ago. Right now I only play theme deck games. I like collecting the daily rewards and the rewards from the ladder that resets every 3 weeks. I try the theme deck tournaments intermittently. I've got about 500 games played.

I've got a good grasp on the cards and strategy for the decks I play with and against. It takes me 15-20 seconds to take my turn, and by the 5th turn I've never spent more than 2 minutes total on my turns. I say this because by the 5th turn it's already apparent if I will win the game, and if I can't I just quit.

I feel like it's not worth the risk/reward, with me risking time for a single win reward. I could spend 15-20 minutes playing a game that I might win, or I could quit early and spend that time playing only games I can for sure win in 10 minutes or less.

Most of my criteria for quitting games go as follows: If I don't get adequate Pokemon to begin with, such as if I don't get two or more of the Pokemon I normally use in conjunction with each other by the 2nd turn, I quit. If I don't have/get an energy on one of my turns, I quit. If my opponent is taking 1min+ per turn, I quit. And if my opponent shows a good starting bench and active Pokemon (something strong/powerful), I quit.

I quit a lot of games in the first few minutes. I feel like this is the best strategy, akin to playing poker. Any thoughts on this, or better ideas?

Also, it's pretty common to see someone play Timer Ball on their first turn. This is dumb, right? You can't evolve on your first turn, wouldn't it be better to wait until the next turn when you get to draw a card?

Finally, I can't find a difference between putting Pokemon on your bench during the setup phase and putting them on your bench during your first turn. I feel like waiting till the first turn is the most advantageous move. If I'm missing something here can someone let me know why putting them on the bench during setup is better?

    [noob question] About event

After I lose, let say I lose in first round, should I immediately leave the event? I found that I seem to miss the ranking reward.
