Posted: 04 Nov 2019 05:07 PM PST Hello all! A few months ago we ran a poll that requested users to vote on if we should allow pack pulls, or other forms of users showing off results from tournaments, chests rewards, & more. It was overwhelming in the favor of removing them all-together. However, I know many of you, such as myself in the past, had nobody else to share in your excitement. That's why I have been discussing internally in pursuing an avenue in which everyone can be happy. I think the best solution moving forward is for us to move these type of posts to Saturdays, which we'll be calling "Show-Off Saturdays" for the foreseeable future. Saturdays from 12AM-11:59PM ET (Think New York City Time as a reference), we will allow people to post individual posts showing off their week's worth of tournament results, pack pulls, chests rewards, and more. We will not be making a mega-thread. Posts that are created outside this allotted time will be deleted, with a warning given. Repeat offenders will result in your Reddit account becoming suspended or banned from partaking in this particular subreddit, /r/ptcgo. If you feel like you can't wait to show-off on Saturdays, utilize the subreddit we have made for use any-day of the week: /r/ptcgopulls For those of you who think this will leave nothing left for the subreddit. That is simply untrue. There are many other topics left for discussions such as:
I hope with these adjustments, people who are for, and against show-off posts, can agree that this is the best likely path to appeasing everyone. Thank You! [link] [comments] |

Seeking deck advice - 2x laser focus Posted: 24 Dec 2019 01:27 AM PST Picked up ptcgo again after a few years break and bought 2 laser focus theme decks to get me rebooted. Looking to maybe build a custom f2p deck with them. Any advices and what else I should spend coins on to boost and deck build suggestions? [link] [comments] |

Any Eeveelutions Success Stories? Posted: 24 Dec 2019 12:29 AM PST I'm fairly new to PTCGO and have been having most fun creating what are most definitely sub optimal decks, and giving them a bash on the versus ladder. I've tried putting together a multi-type Eeveelutions deck in standard, built around Leafeon GX's GX attack - and the buffs available from the non-GX Eeveelutions who I really just try to bench. Has anyone had any success with this type of deck? If so, what's your deck list and how did the match ups go? [link] [comments] |
returning player with questions about upgrading old volc standard deck to expanded Posted: 23 Dec 2019 08:35 PM PST back from a hiatus and curious what new (and old I guess) stuff I could get to bump this volc list up to play expanded ladder. Is volc even viable in expanded? ****** Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck List ****** Pokémon - 12

Posted: 23 Dec 2019 06:02 PM PST I've been playing theme for a bit now so I was wondering what deck is good to start to get into standard and how to get the cards I need [link] [comments] |
Posted: 23 Dec 2019 04:26 PM PST Hi all, My little brother was going to throw away the codes from the packs he got from Christmas, and I figured I'd see if anyone here wanted them. I've got 14 codes so I'm planning on having two winners with 7 codes each. It's kind of a mishmash, but here are the two groups/prizes: Group 1 Codes:
Group 2 Codes:
How to win: Leave a comment down below with your guess for my favorite pokemon. The first two people to guess correctly will be the winners (fastest to guess correctly gets their choice of the two prizes). Hint: He's known as the "disaster pokemon" Good Luck! :) Status: CLOSED I'll reach out to the winners. Thanks everyone! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 23 Dec 2019 02:11 PM PST Does this game ever roll out balance changes to cards that may seem over/underpowered? like nerfing/buffing damage or energy cost or something like that. Also is there a standard or similar format I can play without facing a buncha tag team and GX cards, theres a lot of cool pokemon i wanna use but I feel like you just wont win or at least have fun if you play standard without meta GX or tag team cards, theme battles are fun and all but its all premade. Its getting annoying seeing benches full of Tagteam/GX cards but i guess thats the game right haha been having a blast with the game tho [link] [comments] |
