| Posted: 29 Dec 2019 09:42 PM PST I had my first draw today. I was playing Malamar Necrozma and opponent was playing electric boogaloo (Pikarom, Raichu Tag, Zapdos, Ampharos). Opponent swings with their Ampharos GX to knock my Espeon & Deoxys out for their last prize card. My spell tag went off and I collected my 5 prize cards remaining from knocking out Pikarom and Raichu Tag. Then a brand new game started but with one prize card each. Sudden death! I lost... Posted: 30 Dec 2019 06:59 AM PST https://www.ptcgoguide.com/ contains price list for GX cards but I have no idea how much it costs important card like a trainer or other more common pokemon. For example, I don't know how I should offer for Raichu CEC 67 or Pikachu CEC 66. [link] [comments] |
| New player here. Is Relentless Flame really that good? Posted: 29 Dec 2019 12:22 PM PST I started playing ptcgo about a week ago. Read through some guides and watched a bunch of videos. I've been playing with Relentless Flame in Versus, and I feel like every other game I am bricking. I find it difficult to setup and never get the evolutions I need when I need them. Drawing dead. No trainer cards popping up for drawing my evolutions reliably. Is this common? I'm finding it very frustrating. I feel like I almost always lose to players using Towering Heights and Soaring Storm because they have a strong base of basic pokemon. I acknowledge that perhaps I need to practice playing more, but there are just so many instances where I find there's literally nothing I could do to better my odds of winning a match. Just drawing dead and no options. Am I just bad or unlucky or both? [link] [comments] |

Did all the trainer battles and have been doing well in versus standard with RF deck. I have 500 points again to spend in the store, what other decks/boosters should I start focusing on? I played a lot with Theme Decks and I have a good win rates, maybe the best wr I have ever had in card games (I played Magic, Hearthstone and Keyforge). This is the first deck I built, that I really like an love to play. Its a standard deck and I use it mainly to play against other player on the versus ladder, not tournaments.
