Posted: 11 Jun 2021 09:07 AM PDT The new V-UNION mechanic has cards where you can only play the pokemon if the 4 cards are in your discard, which would be pretty easy to do with compressor. Additionally, with the reveal of a few V-UNION cards, they also revealed Professor Burnett (Professor Burnett – Trainer/Supporter/Search your deck for up to 2 cards and discard them. Then, shuffle your deck), which is literally just a worse battle compressor in every way (only discard 2, plus it's a supporter). So I think it's pretty safe to say compressor's getting banned in expanded, right? [link] [comments] |

| Help with Luxray Deck (New Player) Posted: 10 Jun 2021 06:37 PM PDT Hi guys, I'm having a hard time trying to make this deck work, it have a few constrains though, with my friends we play irl games with the next rules:
The idea of the deck is simple, put 1 damage counter on the active and finish it off with Luxray's Scar Strikes Here's is my list so far Pokemon - 20
Trainer - 30
Energy - 10
I'm having trouble deciding the trainers balance and which support pokemons should I use, maybe get rid of the Jirachis and put 2 Gormandize's Snorlax, take the Luxios off, etc. In previous iterations I added 2 Pincurchins with Spinning Fan to damage the whole opponent board and 2 Morperkos with Attack the Wound as a back up attacker, those are some of the ideas I had. As a new player I'm lacking a lots of cards and cards too old are difficult to get, so I hope you guys can help me to try to improve this. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
