Lagged out and lost in the 2nd round match of 3 tournaments in a row, does this happen often? Lag spikes that cause lost turns.

I am a bit confused on the ruling of Piplup's attack from Cosmic Eclipse. The attack reads:

"Bubble Hold 80 - If the Defending Pokémon is a Basic Pokémon, it can't attack during your opponent's next turn."

Does switching remove this effect, is it an effect on the CURRENT basic Pokémon? Say if I have a basic in the active and switch to a different basic, can the new basic Pokémon attack?

The if is kind of throwing me off. Thanks for the help. Couldn't find a specific ruling online.

I played for a little while a few years ago, but only for a week or so. At the moment I have the decks born of fire, gears of fire and mental might.

Should I focus on trainer challenge or online? Should I buy packs or save for whole decks?

Pluspower bug ??

first time it happened , i thought maybe i missed something . maybe the opponent played a card to prevent the damage or something . but it kept happening over and over . plus power doesnt seem to be increasing the damage of my pokemon at all !! am i the only experiencing this ?

I'm fairly new to ptcgo, but not to Pokemon, or tcg's in general. Most of the trade sites have all the big rares and high value cards with listed prices, but I'm having trouble placing a value on a couple of trainer cards I am looking for and when I have attempted to trade for them in the past I feel like people are trying to rip me off by asking for big value promos in return.

The cards I'm after are a playset of Viridian Forest, and a playset of Spell Tag.

What should I be looking to offer up as fair trade for those?

I'm using IOS / iPad and I put the game on simple effects, anything else I can do? Not use the internet in other ways while I play?
