It is quite inconsistent, so was looking for advice on how to improve please! I don't have that much extra in the way of resources, but could trade a few packs for necessary cards (the most valuable stuff I have is probably a couple of locked TEU Jirachis). Any advice is much appreciated! | I don't even know how much I don't know. Teach me jank Posted: 02 Feb 2020 11:40 AM PST I am a returning player from a 5 years break. Even then, I just was a noob, but I managed. Yesterday I was playing standard with a tweaked malamar and encountered a very fun all-cats deck with no energy at all, and that Persian which waives Caturday cats' all costs for attacking. Bold ! It made me wonder : what are the cute, fun, janky decks out there ? Perhaps not decks, but alluring build-around cards. I am mainly looking to have more fun in standard than I currently do, with weirder overlooked cards and hidden gems. What do you got? I don't really know the standard cards yet. Just the mainstream from playing versus for less than a week. Suggestions for expanded are fine too. I have a small dark and fairy pool from around XY (malamar ex, xerneas, and stuff) that could be updated and put into good new use. I know I snatched some Danh earlier this week. | Posted: 02 Feb 2020 01:07 PM PST There's just no way I'm that unlucky and they're that lucky. I have exact copies of top tier decks, I have plenty of decks with mostly 4 copies of cards with this setups. I cannot count the number of times people start with, for instance, exactly one Jirachi, exactly one Cynthia, exactly two fire energies, one Welder, draw one Escape Board off the Jirachi or Cynthia, draw exactly three useable cards with no duplicates off the Welder and, hell, just how many rounds people pull all 4 welders in one game. I have plenty of games where I don't even combo into one of those cards. My current deck runs though half of it in two turns and it's a rare day to get off my full combo. I don't know if you can download it or what, but there's obviously some cheat in this game. I very regularly brick two Pokegears in a row, which in my deck is roughly 0.03%. I can win 7 in a row, play a tournament and I've literally never won and I've never seen a deck I don't regularly beat outside tournament. It's just ridiculous. [link] [comments] |
