    Pokémon TCG Free codes.

    Free codes.

    Posted: 06 Apr 2020 10:16 PM PDT

Hey y'all, back at this again. I got roughly 50ish to give away. These are booster packs codes, vary sword and shield, cosmic eclipse, unified minds, and some ransoms. I'll be responding to those who PM me. Once I run out I'll edit the lost to reflect this. Codes will be sent via picture link from imgur. Just to prevent people from double Dipping, I will ignore requests from accounts less than 30 days old. I will respond tomorrow same time or sooner.

Edit: if y'all enjoy these random give aways please upvote.

Hey everyone! I want to create a new deck but I can’t afford it. My little brother likes to collect Pokémon cards and I have gotten a lot of good pulls (I think). What deck could I create if I traded all of these cards?

How can I advance as a f2p player?

    Posted: 07 Apr 2020 07:26 AM PDT

I am 16 and don't really have money to spend on codes so any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Non vmax / gx recommendations

    Posted: 07 Apr 2020 03:16 AM PDT

Hello. I'm a returning player and I've always enjoyed using non meta, non gx/ex decks. Can anyone recommend some interesting or potentially strong Pokemon that they think could work in a deck. Would love some innovative ideas.

    All the best

My favorite (and most successful) meme deck, PoisonCate, I'm currently on a 9 game winning streak with it.

CONTEST - Best Pokemon Themed Pickup Line Wins A Jirachi

    Posted: 06 Apr 2020 11:37 AM PDT

You have 20ish hours to submit your best Pokemon themed pickup line in the comments to win one of these guys.

    https://preview.redd.it/s0mod2ver8r41.png?width=356&format=png&auto=webp&s=26e9bb29546943657d170d69391fb17cb4006719

Hit me with your best line. I'll be saying each of them to my SO, and she'll choose the winner. Fair warning, she doesn't really know Pokemon all that much, other than as "that game you spent all that money on, and dont even play anymore". I don't care if it's clean or dirty, but don't break the subreddit rules.

One entry per person, must be an account over two weeks old. The prize will be One (1) Stellar Wish Jirachi via private trade, so have a energy or something to give me.

Winner will be picked and announced after 1200 on April 7th Eastern US Timezone.

    Previous winners:

    u/jjbeatbox2317 - Jirachi - Best Knock Knock

    u/Giulietto_normie - ADP Tag Team - RNG

    u/ThatsCashMoney - Dedenne GX - RNG

Why isn't there an option to reset a trade once it expires?

    Posted: 06 Apr 2020 09:15 PM PDT

Resetting the same trades by hand over over is really annoying. I wish there was a button on the expired trade that allowed you to put it back.

    Stage 2 vs ADP?

    Posted: 06 Apr 2020 07:15 PM PDT

I'm using a inteleon deck ( 058/202 - the one that searches trainers and does 120) and I find it impossible to deal with arceus dialga and palkia gx

I couldn't see anything from the cards I have that would counter it( from what I understand channeled doesn't work on it right?)

is there some kind of strategy to deal with losing two prize cards instead of one?

What cards could help against it? It's especially hard since I need at least 3 attacks to take it out

Need advice for updating an old Mega Mewtwo deck

    Posted: 06 Apr 2020 03:41 PM PDT

old player, enjoy theme play but it's starting to get old again. I have a few old standard decks. I played this Mega Mewtwo deck a lot. I'm assuming it's heavily outdated. So pointers on what I should update with?

What kind of deck can I build with this intended playstyle?

    Posted: 06 Apr 2020 01:34 PM PDT

After playing the Japan-exclusive Pokémon GB2, I learned of this game and jumped into it. I've been playing well over a hundred theme games at this point. I started off going just barely above 1 for 1 with Destruction Fang, not knowing it didn't really compare to the other decks out there, but I now have a 2 W/L with Laser Focus (my main pick) and Towering Heights, something well above that for the few times I played Unseen Depths, and so on.

It's been an effort to adapt to the new style of the game, but now, I want to start thinking about my eventual plunge into the real game. I'm not really up to date on what the meta is and frankly don't care; I'm interested in pulling off a particular playstyle as best as I can.

It's been my experience that a good deal of players simply draw as many cards as they can and try to rush down damage. I could of course be biased because of theme deck play, but I'm interested in doing the inverse.

I want to be as tactical and indirect in my approach as possible. Some of my favorite cards in theme play were:

    - the U-turn boards in Laser Focus and how that enabled me to keep big damage dealers safe as needed, all while letting me not lose momentum with the deck's bench energy redistribution

    - Gumshoos in Mach Strike, which often punished players who drew loads of cards.

    - Empoleon in Unseen Depths, which gave me a lot of situational attack options for a single pokemon, including bench raiding, ruining the efficacy of basic pokemon, etc.

I could of course mash theme decks together, but, well... that looks unviable with all the GX, V, VMAX, etc. going around. With tons of power creep and options galore, I'm not sure where to look from here. I'm only so familiar with TCGs.

I have 2k tokens saved. What booster packs should I be purchasing? What cards should I be on the lookout for? Should I save up for the Rebel Clash expansion that's coming out? Is my intended playstyle even viable?

    All assistance is greatly appreciated!
