| How do you manage and archive your PTCGO decks? Posted: 27 Apr 2020 04:30 AM PDT Dear fellow deck-builders! The PTCGO internal deck manager becomes very confusing, when the number of decks grows. Especially if you want to keep track on different versions of a deck or to archive your older decks, it's functionality is very limited. Is there any software around that you can recommend for such a purpose? Not only archiving, but also deck-building functionality would be appreciated (i.e. it should have a card-database in the back). And an easy interface to PTCGO is important. Any experiences? | Posted: 27 Apr 2020 02:43 AM PDT I am glad ditto prism is a thing, but I just had this idea that could make a non prism ditto more balanced and honestly be just like the show/VGs. Ditto has always been able to transform into anything, but it is also significantly weaker than that Pokemon. Something like the title could make for some interesting decks and meta change, potentially allowing for more evolution decks or decks that can run multiple different evolution lines but they would just suffer some hit points/damage output. It could be scalable, like GX evolutions take something like 10 damage counters when evolving from Ditto, where as non-GXs take ~5 or so. I believe it could also work without damage counters and just be less HP, similar to tools, where if you look at the "effect" after playing one, it says "this pokemon has more HP" etc. This may also be a way for Stage 2s to become a thing again even though they may be lackluster due to the Ditto reductions. Only thing that would need to be considered further is how to midigate stage 2 abilities, so maybe add an errata that says something like "if a stage 2 pokemon has an ability, it may not evolve from this card". That's all I got for now, but I just came up with this idea after seeing that there's only been like 4 ditto cards on PTCGO and only one of them can actually do anything with evolved Pokemon. Thoughts? Questions? Concerns? How do you think something like this could affect/change the game? What are some interesting ideas you could have for it that would make it worth while.
