| How to advance after theme decks? Posted: 03 May 2020 10:04 PM PDT I am a newbie who has been playing theme deck for a while, and am curious how to transition to the next step. The custom decks seem impossible to build, and I am not sure how to even start. I think I am a decent theme deck player now, but I know that means nothing, as there is a big world out there beyond theme. But I am so overwhelmed. I have grinded enough to collect most of the popular theme decks: RF, Rilaboom, Unseen Depths, Towering Heights, Soaring Storm, Laser Focus, Hidden Moon, Destruction Fang, Clanging Thunder I saved enough coins and bought about 25 packs of RC and got 1 of each: Boss Orders, Scoop Up Net, Copperajah V, Dragapult, Dragapult Vmax. I completed the trainer challenges and opened all those packs, but have no idea what is good. Please help point me in the right direction. Thank you [link] [comments] |

Should I keep it all, or should I exchange it for a different set while it's fresh? What will be the most stable pack/card in the next 5 months or so? Any advice would be appreciated. | Theme Deck Meta- Is Blazing Volcano good? Posted: 04 May 2020 12:23 AM PDT Options are limited in the theme deck format. It seems like the only competition is from the last few years, when they started putting some good cards in. Charizard and Necrozma are always the two recommended ones. Necrzoma hits 100/160 and has 130 HP. Charizard will probably be hitting 130 or 180, maybe more, but it won't hit that high unless it takes its HP down from 150 to 130. This is why I'm eyeing Blazing Volcano- Houndoom can hit 130, Entei can hit 140, and you may or may not get Blaziken/ Magcargo out to help you. Its trainer roster is a little weaker than some other decks, though, and I can't judge if it's consistent enough to work as counter-meta. I want to hear from people with this theme deck- how's it worked out for you? [link] [comments] |

I'm trying to get staples like Jirachi and whatnot and they are stupidly expensive! Like 17 Rebel Clash packs. Is this normal? Is there any way for me to even feasibly get all the staples I would need any time in the near future? | Card Values now with Rebel Clash out Posted: 03 May 2020 02:11 PM PDT I haven't really been involved with the game when a new set comes out (started playing with S&S base) so I'm not sure what the card values do. But it seems as though S&S base sets are now not worth much, looking through trades its about 3:1 (3S&S base to get 1 Rebel Clash). I was expecting that, but I wasn't expecting values of actual cards to go down! Seems like all the cards did the same, Dedenne GX's for 18-20 packs, Zacians under 10 packs, Mewtwo & Mew like 2 packs. Does it stay like this until new "staple" decks are found out, or is this just early release craziness and it'll balance out eventually? I'd dumped most of my tradable S&S packs knowing they'd be worth less, but I was totally not expecting for the cards I picked up to be worth less too.. [link] [comments] |
