    I am speaking more specifically about the interaction with Shaymin-EX and Scoop Up Net. It is getting kind of obnoxious to see it happening over and over and over again. Also with a much more balanced Crobat V coming in the next set, the ban could be more justified without drastically upsetting the functionality of most decks.

    2.73 Login Issues Resolved

    Earlier this afternoon the dev team identified the root cause of the login and deck validation errors that started occurring shortly after maintenance for this morning's 2.73 client update ended. A rolling server update was deployed about an hour ago with a fix for these errors, and everything appears to be more or less back to normal. I apologize for any frustration that these errors may have caused, and appreciate your patience while the team worked to resolve them.

    Scoop Up Net Occasionally Picks Up Two Mons

    Has anyone experienced a bug with scoop up net where two mons are being picked up instead of one (in particular zigzagoon)?

    Unfortunately, I don't have a game log I can post that demonstrates the issue but, so far, I had this happen to me once and I saw it happen to one of my opponents.

    Seems like a new issue since yesterday's (2.73) update. If confirmed, pretty bad bug as it can be abused to gain an advantage over an opponent.

    My game still won't load even after the second maintenance. Is anyone still having this problem? I was able to get online after the first maintenance but now I can't.

    Edit: As of 9:36 EST, the game loads and I can play matches fine.

    My guess is Shaymin EX will get banned in the Expanded format after Darkness Ablaze releases.

    Sorry if someone has already talked about this but i did not see any post about this.

    Tl;dr when crobat V comes out I think they will ban shaymin ex in the expanded format because crobat v has its exact same effect but cannot be a target for scoop up net and cannot be used more than once per turn.

    I just started playing expanded this week after playing standard exclusively for a bit over a year. I started playing the tcg in the ultra ball, nest ball, pikarom meta where turn 1 supporters and let loose marshadow were still around in turn 1. After that turn 1 felt much slower and balanced. Along came dedenne gx and turn 1s atleast had some way of drawing cards. But it was fair due to a once per turn restriction to its effect.

    In expanded though you have shaymin EX with no such futureproofing and when scoop up net was released you can draw ur entire deck with essentially 1 card and alot of scooping up.

    I have been playing a latios ex/pheromosa gx fast raid donk deck and its consistent (except against a loaded bench or an active 2 prizer with lots of hp). But it would be nothing without shaymin ex. But even I know this deck is unfair, and unfun for the opponent. As I play im thinking "no cards should be able to draw this much. The opponent is probably so bored."

    But with crobat V on the horizon with an ability with the exact same effect as shaymin exs I can see them banning shaymin ex in expanded. This is simply because of the scoop up net abuse. Crobat v has a once per turn restriction on its ability and so even if it is scooped up and placed on the bench again, you cannot draw up to 6 cards again. But also since it is a V pokemon you cannot use scoop up net on it anyway. So by banning shaymin ex when crobat v releases they are essentially replacing shaymin ex with a more balanced and non-abusable version in expanded. If this does happen then my guess is they created crobat v just to replace shaymin ex in the expanded format.

    What do you think? Do you think they will ban Shaymin ex? Do you want them to ban shaymin ex?

    Personally I dont want them to ban it because I love the solitaire plays with scoop up net in donk decks. But I also realise that it gives an unfair advantage abusing this combo and doesnt reflect the true nature of the game that is to compete with an opponent. But I can also see them simply ignoring this altogether since expanded isn't really in their radar.

    Hi! I started playing PTCGO in the last hour and I'm stuck at trying to figure out how to play the "trainer challenge". It says "you don't have any decks of this [theme] format" and the only way I can get a theme deck is by buying it. I am not sure how I am supposed to play when I don't have the decks to do so.

    Game won't open correctly(not stuck at 90%)

    My game keeps cycling between the updater and the client. It will update to 100%, launch the client, say it is ready to go and switch to the client, and then go back to the updater, update to 100%, and repeat the cycle. Is anyone else having this issue.

    edit: tried to reinstall and got a weird error which was corrected by running the resolver from the roaming app data folder

    Looks like servers are down for maintenance. When I try to log it, it gives me a 14 second wait time, then gives me this. Anyone else?
