    Server Update | Aug. 12, 2020

    Posted: 12 Aug 2020 05:31 PM PDT

On August 12, 2020 the Pokémon TCG Online game server was updated with the following changes:

    • AZ (PHF #91, 117): When a previously played copy of AZ is returned to your hand and played again its effect should no longer return every Pokémon currently in play to your hand that had been chosen to be returned to your hand when that specific copy of AZ was previously played.
    • Clay (CEC #188): When a previously played copy of Clay is returned to your hand and played again its effect should no longer affect cards that had been, but are no longer, the top 7 cards of your deck when that specific copy of Clay was previously played.
    • Flapple (RCL #22, BSP SWSH022): The effect of Apple Drop should no longer place damage counters on every Pokémon that was previously affected by the Apple Drop Ability of that specific copy of Flapple.
    • Giovanni's Exile (UNB #174, HIF #57, 67): When a previously played copy of Giovanni's Exile is returned to your hand and played again its effect should no longer discard every Pokémon in play that had been chosen when that specific copy of Giovanni's Exile was previously played.
    • Roxie (CEC #205): When a previously played copy of Roxie is returned to your hand and played again you should no longer additional draw cards for every card you discarded when that specific copy of Roxie was previously played.
    • Scoop Up Net (RCL #165, 207): When a previously played copy of Scoop Up Net is returned to your hand and played again its effect should no longer return every Pokémon in play to your hand that had been chosen when that specific copy of Scoop Up Net was previously played.
    • Tag Switch (UNM #209, 254): When a previously played copy of Tag Switch is returned to your hand and played again its effect should no longer move Energy from every Pokémon that was chosen for the first part of its effect when that specific copy of Tag Switch was previously played.
    • Team Magma's Claydol (DCR #11): Magma Switch should no longer allow you to move an amount of basic Energy equal to 1 + the number of times that the Magma Switch on that specific copy of Team Magma's Claydol had previously been used.
    • Ultra Recon Squad (FLI #114, 131): When a previously played copy of Ultra Recon Squad is returned to your hand and played again its effect should no longer automatically discard any Ultra Beast cards in your hand that were chosen to be discarded when that specific copy of Ultra Recon Squad was previously played.
    • Welder (UNB #189, 214): When a previously played copy of Welder is returned to your hand and played again its effect should no longer automatically attach Energy to the Pokémon that was chosen the last time that specific copy of Welder was played.

I can’t open PTCGO, every time I try to open it it automatically crashes and closes.

I tried looking on the supportpokemon website and it says the following: "When you launch the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online, you may experience an immediate crash, resulting in the game unexpectedly closing. This may be caused by a corrupted or redundant file in the game's installation directory.

Typically this is resolved by performing a "full" uninstallation of the game."

Now, my only question is what is a full uninstallation and how do I do a full uninstallation?

Also, I have a Pokémon account but I'm scared I'll lose all my progress if I do a full uninstallation. So, if anyone can help me with this stuff that would be highly appreciated! (Also, I'm using Windows if that helps)

    How should I do this?

    Posted: 13 Aug 2020 05:11 AM PDT

I have 108 Darkness Ablaze codes redeemed, enough coins to buy 50 Darkness Ablaze packs in game tomorrow, and I'm sitting on 81 tradeable Rebel Clash packs. What's should my plan of attack be to maximize my odds of getting staple Darkneas Ablaze cards? (Open x, trade y)

More specifically, should I do anything today versus tomorrow?

Naganadel and Guzzlord's GX attack takes 3 prizes instead of 2

It was in expanded with a DDE + Metal Energy. Interesting enough, there are different lines of text for the taking third prize as well as missing a source. Here's the relevant log:
