| Anyone wish there was a game mode just for 'normal' cards? Posted: 28 Oct 2020 12:55 AM PDT I appreciate V and GX are part of the game, but at the same time there feels like a lot of cool under used cards below them. For example I made a deck based around Sandaconda and Salazzle. I felt like they were interesting enough cards and I'd managed to pull a tonne of each from packs. The problem being as soon as I tried using the deck competitively (which seems the only option for standard) I was just coming up against whole decks of V and GX cards and didn't stand a chance. I feel like it just makes a lot of cards basically worthless if there's no viable way to use them. Which is a shame, because there's definitely some cool cards in there. Anyway, just wondered people's thoughts and if anyone had experienced similar? [link] [comments] |

| Help understanding standard decks Posted: 27 Oct 2020 09:56 AM PDT Im trying to learn how to play in standard format. I hear things like "ability-zard", "green's-zard", welderbox, darkbox, and i have very little clue as to what exactly these terms mean. I mean, i get it that it refers to a deck, but when i go on limitless, the deck lists list some cards as 1.25 or 2.5, i assume that means some decks run 2 or 3 for the 2.5, but when people mention adp, is there a place that has the decks in some order with nicknames and all?
