| Posted: 04 Nov 2020 06:40 AM PST Edit 1: first of all, think before you accept any trade, no one is going to give valuable cards playsets for trashy cards, don't help shark traders to get richer At this point, it is unnecessary to give a background. Today I've counted 200 scammy offers involving meta staples... My question to everyone is You can blame the one who made the offer? Honestly, the ones who fall for it are are acting as guiltily as the one who set the offer, but dumber... Thats pretty much the mindset: Oh this guy is giving 4 crobats for this greninja, gonna grab the first greninja offer i see and buy this loot from this newbie This just happens cause there is always someone trying to take advantage at any cost, and some less smart fellas end up in this kind of trap Sadly there is no way to stop it, you can't ban someone for setting trades, as PTCGO don't have an official way to measure cards value, and setting any would make the game economy steady and broke since they are lazy and they wont update the price chart daily. I'm not even sure where to diagnose the problem, but if you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them- I just tried to play my first game of the day and had it instantly close itself half way through, so it's not a memory leak issue? | Is now a good time to get back into the game? Posted: 03 Nov 2020 03:07 PM PST Hello! I used to be very active in the TCG communities until around 2011. I primarily played Yu-Gi-Oh! though. Pokemon I played casually. But it's been even longer since I played the Pokemon TCG. I'm just wondering if now is a good time to start playing. I prefer the online space to in person (I'm shy) so it's not really a big deal to me that in person events aren't a thing currently. I guess the biggest reason I'm on the fence is nobody I know plays this game and it's not always easy for me to assimilate into communities. I've been wanting to get back into TCGs for a long time. I've always loved card games and board games. In fact it used to be my hobby to invent new games. So with all that said along with my topic title question is there a particular discord that is proactive for new players? You guys have any advice on a cheap deck to invest in now? I always wanted to build a Quad-Sylveon-GX deck, due to its playstyle. Is it still viable now or not worth spending anymore? | Posted: 03 Nov 2020 08:34 AM PST So I'm coming back after years (thank you everyone for being helpful with all the posts I've made) and was wondering if I should just redeem all my (mostly Rebel clash and bass sword and shield) packs and trade them for Darkness ablaze now or wait and trade for vivid voltage. I just bought Charizard... Do I have to beat 36 trainers to get the three boosts so my theme deck is finally ready? noooOOOOO What other theme decks are good?
