    I have played ptcgo on and off for the past two years and I usually stop playing because of the terrible UI. I just do not understand how a franchise as lucrative as pokemon has not developed a clean and modern looking online pokemon card game. I understand the card game itself is not as lucrative but at least they could develop something that doesn't look like Webkinz circa 2009? I wish there was some way we could push for this.

    How to stop PTCGO from minimizing when using 2nd monitor

    I figure I'd put this tip out there because I'm sure other people like me use their second monitor to watch scream and other things while playing. Currently PTCGO will minimize if you click on another monitor. What we need if a borderless full screen option but PTCGO doesn't have one. But I figure out a way to get around this.

    • Download https://www.autohotkey.com/ this program runs sripts on your pc.

    • then open notepad and save the text in quotes as ptcgo_borderless.ahk

    "+a:: WinSet, Style, -0xC40000, a
    WinMove, a, , 0, 0, 2560, 1440
    return"

    • then remove the quotes and where it has 2560, 1440 change that to your monitor resolution.

    • Then double click on the ahk file you saved and open ptcgo then hit control shift a and enjoy your boderless ptcgo

    Does anyone actually play Legacy?

    All I get is people genting. They'll either spam messages or take forever on purpose hoping I concede, but I actually wanna play the legacy format. I also don't care about ladder rewards that much and don't wanna participate in the whole genting thing.

    Anywhere I can actually do this?

    Inb4 downvotes because I complained about genting.

    Edit: Wanted to add, I swear there's people who intentionally fill their deck with energies and trainers so they get like, 30 mulligans and try to frustrate me to get me to concede. Too bad for them, because I won't. :)

    No Energy Coin Flip deck

    I got this idea for a meme deck this morning. Doesn't do a ton of damage, but it doesn't use any energy and Sandslash's attack has a coin flip invulnerability effect. Obviously weak to Boss's Orders, but it's all single prize pokemon so it can take some trades. Galarian Perrserker and vitality band can get the damage up to 120. So far it's been a lot of fun, and it's really strong against other single prize decks. Any thoughts on how I could improve this?

    I am pretty new to PTCGO, but not new to card games. I have been playing PTCG for just over 2 months, but TCGs in general since I was a kid. In the time I have been playing on PTCGO, I managed to put together several competition level decks. Centiscorch Vmax, Pikarom, Coalossal VMax and even a few decent Water decks. I knew getting into Standard format wouldn't be easy, but I thought I had what it takes.

    I was very, very wrong.

    I have gone a few hot streaks with the Centi deck over the last few weeks, but in the last few days especially I am just getting completely obliterated by everyone, playing with anything. I have gone 1-10 today, squeaking out a miraculous win against a sluggish ADP deck. Otherwise I'm just getting bodied by anything I encounter.

    I'm not one of those people that just wants to win (otherwise I'd play ADP), but playing this game has largely been frustrating and soul crushing. I feel like I don't even have a fair chance in the format, despite having all the right tools.

    I dunno, maybe I'm just complaining and whining about losing all the time, but I don't know if I have the heart it takes to keep wrecked like this. It's incredibly depressing, and I already have enough of that in my life.

    For anyone not already signed up for a store, the place I'm competing at is looking for a few more players for the first qualifier for the Pokémon Team Challenge tomorrow!

    Tournament starts at 12:00 pm CST and is a great bunch of people. Not a lot of people signed up currently, so you have pretty good odds of getting in. Also, all four qualifiers are scheduled on Sundays. So if that's your day off (like me) this is a great store to play at.
