Does the PTCGO app sometimes just randomly crash for anybody else? Posted: 01 Jan 2021 10:43 PM PST For what it's worth, I'm playing this game on an Apple iPad using the app. I noticed this starting yesterday, so it might just be related to the New Years. Even though my Wi-Fi connection is strong, the game sometimes just randomly crashes and exits. If this happens during a game and I hurriedly make my way back to the game, it's already over. Even if I do this in ten seconds, well under the time before the game tells you to hurry up. I check that my win streak is reset to zero, so I know that the game counted it as a loss for me. The opponent got lucky and must be wondering why they suddenly saw VICTORY on their screen as they were losing. This also happened to me against the AI, which is not as bad. But does it happen to anybody else? It's annoying to lose for reasons beyond your control, especially when you don't know what those reasons are. [link] [comments] |

Question from a seriously casual player Posted: 01 Jan 2021 11:42 AM PST Hey there, So my munchkin (11 years old) is quickly getting super into this game. And because I want to promote it, I'm going to play with him. The thing is, I don't really want to spend a lot of time deckbuilding, Full time college (grad work at this point) full time job, and all that) I noticed the game has a deckbuilding wizard, where I can just choose my favorite card(s) and it'll build a deck for me. My question is, how good on average are these decks? Can I just have it build decks for me and still be able to for sure keep up with him (and potentially randoms I'll play to get the occasional victories)? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 01 Jan 2021 02:22 PM PST How does the ptcgo end of time procedure work. I've never gotten their in my games, but I just want to know [link] [comments] |
Most efficient dailies & laddering? Posted: 01 Jan 2021 04:25 PM PST I'm curious what everyone's opinions on the most (time) efficient way to achieve the daily rewards, challenges, and laddering. I'm playing only theme deck format right now since my online collection isn't enormous and I'm pretty new. I'm trying to build up coins, but it's a grind. I won a theme deck tournament today and got 200 coins, but I imagine that will hit a ticket limit (plus I'd have to win every time), so it's not terribly reliable. I'm halfway through the 3 star part of the ladder and..many of the matches are tough. Getting 3-4 wins per hour is generally how it's shaking out, with a win rate of maybe 1 in 3 matches (including concessions). Maybe a better route is buying a competitive standard format deck, learning it, and trying that instead? Assuming I'm a halfway decent player, would the win rate/coins per hour be generally higher than theme deck? [link] [comments] |
What deck should I build next? Posted: 01 Jan 2021 12:05 PM PST |
Posted: 01 Jan 2021 12:57 PM PST I've just won my first tournament and packed a eevee & snorlax tag team. But when I look the price up online I can't really make sence off it, they say 0.5-2 vivid packs at what price should I offer it then? [link] [comments] |
Bring Back Dragon Pokémon! Petition and Details Posted: 01 Jan 2021 11:13 AM PST Since it was removed when Sw/Sh Base Set came, things were never the same without Dragons Pokémon in TCG, but now... I want to bring it back! Here are somethings I can change to it if we bring back Dragon in TCG: 1. Dragon Energy will be a thing 2. They'll get a Psychic weakness (Fairy's new type) 3. Some pure Dragon-Type Pokémon like Goomy and Axew will get cards for it I made a Word Document based on a new set for Japan if TPCi and Creatures allow it; Dragon Pokémon return, with Regidrago-V Debuting! There will also be Water, Lightning, Fighting, and Metal Pokémon, 2 VMAX cards in Duraludon and Rayquaza, and a staple card in Dragapult V! Sign your name if you want Dragon Pokémon back in TCG: 1. Daniel Delta 2. [link] [comments] |
