    Decidueye Deck with no Rosa? [Standard]

    Hey guys, I was wondering if there was anyone here experienced with the deck who might know of a list that doesn't use Rosa? I've tried replacing it with 4x Bruno but I don't think it's as consistent. I feel like dropping 20 bst packs on 4x Rosa when it's going to be rotated out soon is a waste

    V Search Supporter means eventual V Search Ball? What Future "Ball" cards could you see coming out in the future?

    With the reveal of the Adventurer's Discovery Supporter card, I started thinking about a Cherish Ball equivalent for V Pokemon and then generally towards unused Poke Ball types in the TCG. To those not familiar with the new supporter, its effect is "Choose 3 V Pokemon from your deck and put them into your hand" and was revealed to be part of the Inteleon/Gengar High Class Decks in Japan. It reminded me of how Olivia came in the first half of the Sun & Moon bloc as a Supporter that searched for two Pokemon-GX, and then later, towards the end of the SuMo era, Cherish Ball replaced that role of GX search. I feel like similar could happen for the V era, where we'll get a ball to replace Adventurer's Discovery. I just wanted to post my ideas of what this ball could be as well as what other balls could be.

    -Premier/Luxury Ball: V Search. Premier Ball probably makes the most sense, since in PoGo raids and SwSh raids the Premier Ball is either the ball you catch the Pokemon in or else the form your ball takes. I could see them going for Luxury Ball, though, due to the black trim of the V cards as well as the higher status/price of Luxury Balls to correspond to the rarity of the Cherish Ball. Whichever one they choose, this ball would have no consequences like Cherish Ball.

    -Dusk Ball: Dark-Type Search. With the designers loving to make Strong Archtypes Stronger, they could add this as a booster to Eternatus Decks a couple months before the 2022 Rotation to keep the card relevant. Additional search that can more easily find Eternatus VMax than PokeComm would definitely be appreciated. It would, like Dive Ball, have no consequences and allow search of any Dark-Type at any stage of evolution.

    -Safari Ball: Colorless & Grass & Fighting Search. You would only get one Pokemon and it would come with a consequence of discarding a card but I think it should search any stage to have it be more useful than Net Ball for Grass-Types. The types chosen are purely based on the Pokemon you could find on land in the Kanto Safari Zone (ignoring the Nidos I suppose).

    I'm out of ideas other than that, except for Love Ball but that would've been Fairy-Type search which.... yeah.... Any other ideas? There's also nothing to stop them from just making up balls when they want to like they did for the Plasma or Aqua/Magma Balls. For reference, the balls that have yet to be used in the TCG are: Safari, Moon, Love, Fast, Sport, Premier, Luxury, Heal, Dusk, Park, and Dream Balls.

    Do Relentless Flame players have skill?

    What inspired me to post this poll is a game I just had playing Rillaboom deck against, well, the title. I was just getting unlucky first because, the matchup, second because I only had 1 Snorlax in deck.

    Naturally when I knocked out his Farfetch'd with my Snorlax, he sent in Rapidash to rely on the 50/50. Got tails, I knock out. Sends in Charizard. Make note, Snorlax has 150 HP - 60 from Rapidash = 90. Puts energy on Charizard, activates ability. Why would he put the energy on his Charizard??? Needs to deal 90 damage...

    I'm probably just a little salty cause I could have gone in with Thwackey but didn't get a Rillaboom to evolve and knockout the Zard, plus the brainless play he did made me know I lost purely because RNG of not getting the Rillaboom

    Theme decks to buy

    Per the title, I'm wondering what theme decks are suggested to buy. Mostly for the daily challenges, but also to get any good cards/staples I may need. The ones I currently have, aside from the default ones, are: Drednaw Theme Deck, Galarian Sirfetch'd, Laser Focus, Leaf Charge, Mach Strike, Relentless Flame, Rillaboom, Soaring Storm, Storm Caller, and Zacian.

    Any other tips are welcomed, too. I've been playing tcg's off and on over the years (mostly mtg, with a bit of pokemon and even Naruto) so I think I'd have a decent grasp of the basics, though I'm sure there is a lot of things I haven't thought of or overlooked.

    Are GX Cards Outdated Now?

    It's been over 4 years since I've last played, and GX cards were fairly new before I quit. I see V and VMAX are a thing now, and was wondering if GX cards are being rotated out of Standard Format soon, like EX cards were. It would feel bad to trade/invest into GX cards when they wouldn't last very long for Standard rotation/powercreep.

    So I bought a Pikachu avatar box with my coins just because, and I can't find the avatar items when I go in and edit my avatar. After purchase nothing popped up to be opened like you would see with a pack. They're not in my collection waiting to be opened either unless I'm looking in the wrong place.

    I bought 3 more boxes and same thing.

    Anyone know where these end up?
