| Will Victini Vmax become a better deck after rotation? Posted: 10 May 2021 11:37 PM PDT I was just wondering because I have a tradeable Victini Vmax and don't know if I should trade for 5 packs or just hold onto it long term. I also have a SS Urshifu Vmax but I'm more certain that one won't be a better deck after rotation. I don't really need the packs right now but if they're just going to keep tanking it's probably better to flip now. Thanks for any and all advice! [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 10 May 2021 10:56 PM PDT So I've recently returned to PTCGO after a bit of a break but I'm confused as to why most staples are so low in value when trading for packs. I'll give a couple of examples... 1) Boltund V - Last time I played, a single Boltund V would cost between 20-25 VIV packs. now, it appears you can get one for around about 4 packs of Battle Styles... 2) the infamous Crobat V - Again, last time I played, a single Crobat V was around 35-38 VIV packs. Now, its approx 5 packs of Battle Styles... So my question is this. why do these staples appear to be so cheap? Is it because Battle Styles is a better/more popular set? have more Boltund/Crobat V's since been released that have driven the prices down? Any other reasons? I don't feel like I've been away from the game for too long. Yet there seems to be a significant difference between the number of packs required from Battle Styles now as opposed to Vivid Voltage 2-3 months ago... [link] [comments] |
| Cosmic Eclipse or Battle Styles? Posted: 11 May 2021 06:47 AM PDT I am a collector and player, so i want to have as many cards as possible but also play with them and build decks. Unfortunately i missed Cosmic Eclipse and (kinda) missed battle styles. Since i always get like 300-400 codes, i can only afford one set per month. I looked it up and only found a few offers of Cosmic eclipse on eBay, and a lot for battle styles. I do have the feeling i should go for CEC first, since there arent that many offers, but battle styles feels like the better expansion to play with. What do you guys think? Which one do i get first? | Posted: 10 May 2021 10:39 PM PDT How is this fair? Like, at all? I'm at level seven total, 0 with steel and 2 with green. For my daily challenge, I got do 750 damage with steel to get one xp. Or, play 7 green evolutions for 2 xp. Can't figure out how to attach a pic, but my steel is at 0 with like 1 xp mark, whereas grass is at 2 and still the same measurement, but I'm guessing (emphasis there) like one of ten or something. From what I've read there is a rotation coming up in the summer and I have a ton of packs sitting in my account. Right now I have a solid adpz deck and a leonzard deck. I enjoy playing both. My question is, what should I hold on to trade once rotation happens? I guess what I'm saying is there are no cards right now that I want to trade for to finish a deck, so I'm just stashing packs. Which ones should I open and which will hold value in the next rotation? I have the below: 30 darkness ablaze 16 rebel clash 129 battle styles 32 sword and shield base 1 unified minds 1 unbroken bonds 1 team up 11 guardians rising 5 crimson invasion 7 burning shadows 49 sun and moon base 41 shining fates 12 champions path 43 vivid voltage 7 breakthrough 2 evolutions 1 fates collide THIS IS NOT A TRADE POST. Then after getting through the tutorial matches and into the portion where it gives you three deck options to fight NPC's with to unlock them, I signed up for an account to upgrade to a full account. I stopped playing for a couple of days. And when I went to log back in, it made me do the entire tutorial over again, and I lost all the progress I made unlocking the starter decks and fighting the NPC's. I signed back in with the saved username and password I used when I first played, and I've never made a Pokemon account before. What gives? [link] [comments] |
