    Hi, i'm a player who likes to take breaks(and some are huge) I stopped playing during Sun and Moon.

    I'm now a little lost. I tried to watch some vids about which theme decks are commended, but some seems a little off compared to their comments (a vid recommended Cinderace Theme Deck).

    Can you guys recommend me something, to be up to date? I really want to get that Zacian V on the ladder, and losing everytime isn't helping...

    Oh, and in case it helps, i listed the Theme Deck i have :

    Battle Mind

    Gears of Fire

    Ring of Lightning

    Dark Hammer

    Hidden Moon

    Chilling Reign in PTCGO?

    When will the Chilling Reign packs release in PTCGO? Since people are already opening booster boxes, with code cards included. Does that mean that they can already claim Chilling Reign packs in the game? If thats the case, why aren't the packs available to be bought with ingame coins yet?

    Does card legality work roughly the same as MtG? As in if I have an older edition of a card I can play that card in standard as long as there was a version printed recently?

    How do you deal with Victini Vmax playing a deck that uses only V's as attackers?

    My question might not make a ton of sense but I'm wondering how you can get around being one shot by Victini Vmax as a deck that relies on V cards as attackers. I find I'm playing against a lot of Victini Vmax decks lately and once they're up and running (only requiring two energy) the Victini is able to one shot my attackers every turn.

    How can I play around Max Victory? Are there any techs or ways to stand toe to toe with Vmaxes?

    I'm playing a Orbeetle Vmax/Ampharos V spread deck. The Orbeetle Vmax is only to spread damage and not to attack, but it would be one shot by Max Victory as well because of weakness fwiw.

    Should I just ditch the idea of playing V's and just play Vmaxes? Or is Ampharos just not a good enough attacker to warrant playing?

    Newbie on a deck hunt

    Hi all!

    I'm pretty new to all of this, only casually playing theme and over the last few years. I gathered that theme decks are possibly discontinued, so I bought the inteleon battle league deck as an intro to standard and figured it was time to explore other horizons.

    While playing today, I was up against what seemed like a really fun deck with some of my new favourite Pokémon. I didn't get very far before they clobbered me, but they had some Zacian V, a few corviknight V, a copperaja V, and a bunch of galarian meowths and Perrserkers.

    Does anyone know what deck this might be or have tips on how I could build something similar? I really love corviknight and zacian as Pokémon so think it might be fun to work toward building and playing it! Also looking at other common builds that have these two in the meanwhile as well, generally trying to digest all the information and things that are out there. A bunch of thanks in advance for any tips.

    Need help finding some decks for standard 2022 season.

    I have a budget of around 80BST and would like to create maybe 2 or 3 decks that will survive the rotation. I would prefer if decks were simpler and not necessarily meta decks. Bonus points for janky decks that have a fun win condition. I have a lot of the staples and already have Victini/Rapidash deck. I have 4 Zacian and would like to use them but the only zacian deck I'm facing is ADP and it is rotating out soon. Thanks for all the ideas and help. I'm also on discord so if someone is willing we can chat there too.

    Sorry new player here so not that familiar with the trading system and prices. I traded an eternatus V promo I had for 5 battle styles pack and I flipped those packs to get that shiny charizard, I know that card has quite a value in real life but is it the same for the online thing. Thanks

    Expanded vs Standard Decks

    Hey everyone, I'm somewhat new but mostly have just been building expanded decks because they encompass everything. I'd like to try and get more competitive and get into standard but I'm having a really hard time identify what cards in my current deck builds are not in standard. Am I missing it, is there an easy way to see this in my decks?

    Chilling Reigns packs

    Battle Styles was already in the game when I started so I've never been around for a new release. Will the chilling reigns packs be added to ptcgo the same day they physically release or is there usually a period between that?

    When I used Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX in my deck today, I found something weird. When 1 of your pokemon gets KO'ed and you promote your Urshifu VMAX, it moves from the bench to the Active. With his 1 energy attack he does 30 damage and if you moved it from the bench this turn you do 150 damage. But it doesn't do 150 damage after a KO. Can someone explain this?
