    Another mini-collection done

Just finished a playset of all of the secret rare pokemon from the Black & White era. Pretty random, I know, but it had to be done. :-)

Would you suggest ptcgo to someone who knows absolutely nothing about the game?

I've played mtg quite a bit before, and have heard pokemon is simpler, so I believe I could learn. Was wondering how similar it was, like if there's op meta's i'll have to learn, or what the initial buy in to be able to hold my own in the beginning?

    Get into standard rules

    Posted: 10 Jul 2021 07:45 AM PDT

Hello all, Been collecting for a while and have dabbled in theme battles and am really enjoying it. Now live events might start to be a thing would love to learn how to deck build and play standard rules. How different is it to theme rules? And what should I do to learn to play?

Lockdown in Sydney this weekend has me trying lots of decks! Over 16 in total! 5 pictured. Credit to littledarkfury for the builds. All decks are CRE based & competitive, this has been such a great set for the meta! :)

I’m a free-to-play player who has found new version of funny busted rat. I’ve been playing this deck for a while now, and oh it is fun. May not be the most competitive but it sure is fun Currently on 11 game streak. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. *NOT PICTURED: 4 Triple Accel,1 Float*

Easy to build but strong expanded deck?

    Posted: 09 Jul 2021 03:18 PM PDT

I'm kind of tired of the current format so I'm looking to enter into the world of Expanded. I've never played any before, but are there any decks that would be relatively easy to build that would stand a chance on the Expanded ladder?

No playstyles or anything in mind, just something easy to build but strong to play if at all possible. Thanks

If I'm looking for a specific card, is there a site that tells me what pack or deck I can get it from?

    Posted: 09 Jul 2021 01:05 PM PDT

Let's say I'm looking for Energy Switch. Is there a site where I can search for energy switch and have it tell me which deck or booster pack contains it?

    Starting hand and pulls

    Posted: 09 Jul 2021 07:26 PM PDT

It's just me or it feels like it takes some matches to get some decent starting hands and not a dedenne or crobat as active and just energies with no draw supports?
