    Non meta standard decks

    Posted: 19 Jul 2021 08:21 AM PDT

Anyone know a good site or a YouTube channel that could show me some interesting non meta decks to try out.

Don't care if they have a lot of Vs or zero I got packs to trade for the stuff I need.

great budget list for standard beginners!

    Posted: 18 Jul 2021 05:31 PM PDT

I was scrolling through this subreddit the other day and realized there seemed to be a demand for beginner/tutorial content for newer players, so I went ahead and put together this mad party list with no Dedenne or Crobat that costs roughly five packs to build.

I posted a deck profile and gameplay to my youtube and if you're interested in trying it out I'll trade a playset of all four mad partiers to anyone who watches the video and subscribes! Here's the link if anyone's interested as well as the decklist below it:

Opponents move really confused me lol… they conceded after I got a double KO on my turn but still a funny play. I play PTTP and got it off the Marnie > Drizzile regardless…

Need help building a deck around Gengar from XY breakthrough

    Posted: 18 Jul 2021 07:57 AM PDT

    Hey all

Long time collector of the TCG but returning after years to the online game - was recently trawling through a bunch of my old cards and found a whole load of codes for worlds decks / theme decks / etc and redeemed them.

One that caught my eye was the Gengar from an XY Breakthrough theme deck that can knock out your opponent's active if it has three or more damage counters on it and thought this could make a really fun card to build around.

I didn't really play/collect much at all when this card was in circulation so don't really know where to start on building an unlimited deck around it and any advice on staple cards would be appreciated!

How to manage coins in this game?

    Posted: 18 Jul 2021 09:39 AM PDT

What is the most efficient way of using coins? Should we hoard until 25k before spending? What should I do with the coins for now? I started playing a month a go and always bought new theme decks. However, since the ladder prize is so amazing, I play constructed and feel the importance of coins for my collection. I'm very anxious in spending coins now hahaha. Hence here I ask the community for the best way to spend the coins.

    Rosa; what decks use it?

    Posted: 18 Jul 2021 04:59 PM PDT

I need a FA Rosa for my CE set. Why is it so expensive? I don't see it on the ladder; is there a deck out there that uses these, driving the price up?

    gold quickball price question

    Posted: 18 Jul 2021 11:27 AM PDT

i want to trade for my first gold quickball to start collecting the playset. looking at ptcgozone.com it only shows 100+ and no one offering a trade (only buying offers for 35ish packs chilling rain).

so i´m a bit confused. if some veteran can break it down for me "how to trade for expensive cards" and how expensive golden quickballs actually are (also how to estimated these cards when u don´t really get prices) - much apprechiated.

i plan to offer chilling rain packs.

Playing your turn and then Conceding

    Posted: 19 Jul 2021 02:56 AM PDT

I played an entire game, lots of back and forth and set up. I finally had the game locked down, was about to do a 6-prize attack... and my opponent just quits.

It removes all the enjoyment I had from playing the game. It wastes all the time I put into playing it out at all.

I understand conceding when you've lost. But do we not all agree that someone should be able to play out their last turn? I wasn't sandbagging or taking excessively long turns at all during the game.

I feel like you should only be able to concede on your own turn. Why should you be able to play your whole turn out, do anything you want, and then quit before your opponent has the chance to do the same. It's bad feels. Even with the win.
