Item Recovery in Standard Posted: 16 Feb 2020 05:52 AM PST Any tips on how to recover items from the discard pile in the current standard format? I've been messing about with some disruption disruption decks and can't find a way to get crushing hammers back into my deck/hand. Pokemon Pauper Tournament Posted: 15 Feb 2020 10:21 AM PST Today we're announcing the Pauper Tournament on PTCGO. Let there be no time to waste, so let's get to it. The theme of this tournament is this: Make an expanded deck with only using commons and uncommons in the deck. It's a simple idea yes, however, we do believe this will give our players a chance to think outside of the box, and unleash your inner creativity. The rules are: 1) only cards that are common and uncommon though out the expanded format are allowed. Anything from Black and White onward, including the new set Sword and Sheild, are legal. 2) Cards banned in the expanded format are also banned in the Poke Pauper tournament. 3) Promo cards are banned along with all Pokemon that have the attack "Night March" 4) You must have access to the PTCGO Client, otherwise we cannot allow you to join. How you enter: To enter just comment below and you'll be given a number. Then, send me a direct message with your number and decklist for approval. You'll be responsible of sending your PTCGO ingame name to whomever you're fighting unless told otherwise by me. Tournament matchups and current point listings will be posted daily until tournament completion. This tournament will be a swiss tournament with a top 8 bracket finisher. For Swiss, winners (who win best 2 out of 3) will be given 3 points, losers 0. You may also agree to an Intentional Draw (ID) to both receive 1 point each and do need to battle. The goal is to reach 11 points to make it to top 8, but 9 and 10 are also acceptable. People who fail to complete their matches by 11:59 PM PST on the day of the round due to a no show may message me to be awarded 3 points. If both fail to respond, it will be declared an intentional draw. Rewards for the top winners will be as follows. 1st place (Poke Pauper Champion): 10 online packs of Sw/Sh 2nd place (finalist runner up): 5 online packs of Sw/Sh 3rd-4th Place: 3 online packs of Sw/Sh 5th-8th place: 1 online pack of Sw/Sh Decks must be submitted by the 22nd of February before 11:59 PM PST. The tournament will begin on the 23rd. How the tournament would work? Depending on the number of people that we have, the rounds will be decided and shall be posted after the announcement. One round per each day Sunday (23) Round one Monday (24) Round Two Tuesday (25) Round Three Wednesday (26) Round Four Thursday (27) Round Five Then Friday (28) and Saturday (29) shall be top cut. Starting from scratch, what are the best resources and most efficient ways to start building a collection? Posted: 15 Feb 2020 09:47 AM PST Hi everyone, seems like there are plenty of good people giving out codes all over the place in this community which is awesome. I'm rolling with the basic precons the game gives you, I fully "upgraded" the electric deck and am still pushing through the gold trainers. I'd love some type of wiki or other place to go to see what the most cost efficient way to build up my collection is.
