    My son wanted the Darkrai gx pack at Walmart and I decided to look up a deck for it and found turbo. My current list:

    1 oranguru (draw up to 3) 4 yveltai (xy theme) 3 Darkrai gx 2 inkay 2 malamar 2 poipole 2 naganadal 1 tagteam nag and guzz

    2 dark patch 3 max elixir 4 ultra ball 2 hypnotoxic laser 3 battle compressor 4 vs seeker 2 trainer mail 1 mysterious treasure 1 forest stadium (discard: fetch energy)

    2 koga 1 Guzman 1 N 3 sycamore

    6 psychic 7 dark

    What can I do to get this in better condition? I skipped standard altogether because expanded seemed crazier. The list might be short a card or so. You can probably tell almost all of this came from theme decks.

    Hey so i am saving tokens to get a theme deck and i was wondering which one is best to get, i have a few X/Y decks but all of them get destroyed when playing in versus, are there any that will help me atleast stand a chance of winning?

    So expanded has become infested with Ultra Necrozma and Honchkrow counter decks

    Ultra Necrozma + Silent Lab + Double Dragon Energy is a deadly combo. Add in a Choice Band and you're doing 200 damage to GX and EX pokemon, one-shotting most of them and two-shotting the rest. Guzma & Hala gives you all the pieces you need, so it's very easy to setup and you can almost always start attacking on your first turn if you go second, which can often lead to some easy donks. Added to that, the deck is relatively cheap because you don't need Dedenne-GX or Jirachi. Understandably, the deck has become very popular on the ladder as it allows for easy win streaks.

    The natural counter strategy to Ultra Necrozma is to seemingly use Honchkrow-GX. Honchkrow's ability prevents your opponent from attaching special energy, playing tools, or playing stadiums. With Dusk Stone you can set up a Honchkrow-GX on your first turn, even if you play first, and so you can essentially lock Ultra Necrozma out completely right from the off. Of course this is also useful against ADP users, Snorlax V-Max, and any other decks that rely on special energy.

    As a result, I've been playing against heaps and heaps of Ultra Necrozma and Honchkrow GX decks lately. I'm sure other people must be getting annoyed at these decks being so prevalent. I myself even played with both of these for a bit but now I'm switching to some Snorlax skyfield
