Hey guys, I’m new and I ask your help in making a deck making Flygon GX work

    Posted: 30 Jun 2020 03:10 AM PDT

So first of all, hey there! Im joining in hoping to make some friends here and getting help making specific pokemon (that I have) to work. I have been playing a lot of themed decks lately in the themed meta but I got really sick of the all the Relentless flames and the Rapidashes (I had 3 frustratingly games where they flipped heads 6-8 times in a row. Had an amazing comeback in one of them though! 6-1 to 0-1 win). So I wanted to play some standard with the two Flygon GX's I have. However I just can't get the deck to work.

I am trying to run it with Chaotic swells 4x to have stadium up that makes the Flygon GX hit harder. Used some rare candies and stadium finders. Then as backup I used Garchomps and Luxarios that have synergy together, but it is too much to play with the Flygon's and I just don't have the speed I need to stand a chance in Standard.

Anyway, Im hoping you experts have a cool idea to help a noob like me!

    Standard donk deck deck list

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 09:49 PM PDT

If anyone wants to try donking (winning on the first turn) this is the deck list I've been using. Out of 15 matches I donk 6 times. Where the situation was I go first and they have one Pokémon that had under 130 hp, I managed to do it 6 out of 6 times. The problem is for some reason people put two Pokémon down, whether it's there scared of reset stamp or out of habit I notice it quite a bit. This deck can go up to a maximum of 150 but the most I needed to do was 90. This deck gets rotated out and donking won't exist for standard next season so I thought I share. Here's proof if needed.

Do the theme decks that say "includes bonus booster" actually give one?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 03:45 PM PDT

Namely the HS Undaunted, Triumphant, and CoL theme decks.

    Current format stale?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 06:16 PM PDT

Yo. is it just me or is Pokemon's current standard format one of the most stale, boring, and unexciting it has ever been. To me the current standard is dull. No innovate decks, no great combos, just stale bread, the most stale it has ever been. Or is it exciting and i'm just not searching hard enough? I don't know. what do you guys think?

    Can't Select Opposing Card?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 06:00 PM PDT

    https://imgur.com/q09JaFL

As you can see, I'm trying to use Dusknoir's Sinister Hand ability. I have a Sky Field in play. My opponent's Staryu in the top right there has a damage counter on it (you can see the green border), and I want to move it somewhere else... but thanks to my Sky Field, the Staryu is sitting safe under my Duksnoir where I can't click on it. Is there anything I can do? Is there any other way to select cards without having to click on them?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 05:25 PM PDT

I recently won a tournament online and as such i have two packs, sword and shield base and rebel clash, that i would like to give away. In order to win one you must tell me my brothers favorite pokemon or you must tell me what mine is. You can only win one.

Attaching water energies and discarding energies

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 05:21 PM PDT

    UPDATE:

Sorry for the incorrect title, I'm asking not only water energies, but all types of energy

So I'm testing a secret sword deck recently

It does more damage when there's more water energy attached to it

So I wonder, how do I attach more than 1 energy per round?

Either using a pokemon, a trainer card, or an item card

And I also wonder, how do I discard all the energies attached to the opponent's pokemon?

    Thanks

Just returned to the game, need replacement for Lysandre's Trump Card

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 06:04 PM PDT

Hello, I just returned to the game but saw that most of my decks are unplayable due to Lysandre's Trump Card being banned. Is there anything decent I could replace it with? Thanks!

Energy Ramp: Do you do it?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 12:04 PM PDT

I started running a couple Max Elixir and Ether. But I've completed collecting playsets of both now and wonder if it is overkill to run all 8. In most games it allows me to get so far ahead that my opponent just quits (which is a double edged sword for another post)... does anyone else run ramp items/trainers?

For some reason when I'm currently winning against an opponent, more often than not I end up getting a Connection Lost notification and the app brings me back to the start screen. How do I fix this?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 08:18 AM PDT

My wifi is working and this "network connection with the server" is never lost when I'm in the losing position. I find it somewhat suspicious. Has anyone else encountered this issue before? If so, what's causing it? My wifi at home is fast and works well.
