Posted: 01 Sep 2020 07:23 AM PDT I use a league battle deck with a couple extra upgrades, right now I'm 0-11 on versus since the update, and EVERYONE I've played has full holo and gold cards and they are absolutely SMASHING me. I know codes are cheap but since PTCO is for testing and learning and what not I see no real value in buying codes to be competitive. I've spent a lot on getting my physical decks ready for when corona is over. Is there a way to drop ELO so I can get these 11 packs? [link] [comments] |
| Wanting to get back into TCGO. Catch me up? Posted: 01 Sep 2020 09:06 AM PDT To set the scene I was a very good player during the break era and had around a 75% win rate on multiple decks. I also played a lot with good success in the earlier sun and moon era so I know what I'm doing when it comes to how to play the game. I like to create my own decks with their own quirks rather than use recipes from other players. I stopped playing for the most part around the middle of SM with celestial storm being the last booster I touched (but didn't get many of it) and burning shadows was the last booster i played a lot during. Wondering if you guys can help bring me up to speed on cards from the standard format that I should: 1) pick up 2) watch out for 3) have amazing art work 4) which booster packs I should be getting from standard format Thanks all, hopefully you can help with this! P.s. I have crazy amounts of full arts, rainbows, sleeves etc. So trading for important cards shouldn't be too much of an issue. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 31 Aug 2020 04:13 PM PDT So, I was watching Players Cup yesterday and saw a couple of thing that makes me wonder the difference on playing PTCGO ladder and playing a pro tournament.. for example, I noticed that mostly all players from the top cut didn't use reset stamp or tool scrapper. So many of them changed switchs for 3x or 4x air balloon... after seeing Tord's list for Inteleon (check deck lists here) it made me think, what I'm doing, this is totally a different thing, I should go and rebuild all decks, or... Ok, those decks doesn't have any chance against the meta they showed up yesterday. So what are your thoughts?, how the pros think of the meta?, how can we beat that Zamazenta who destroys almost every V deck, it's impressive to see that 1º and 2º place won using exactly the same deck list!, maybe it's the first time on PTCG history... Sure, totally legal... but it literally makes huge portions of a lot of decks completely useless. It's simply not fun to play against. Is it supposed to create a meta devoid of special energy?.... but it also locks stadiums and tools. It just seems so OP. In casual Expanded I will mostly just concede... I might be able to win it. But it's not fun and I'd rather find a matchup where we can both use our cards. [link] [comments] |

I just got a box of DAA in real life and am now trying to see what I can do with the codes I uploaded.
