returned to ptcg after 2 year and made a mew3 standard deck, but playing against same 3 decks in standard is simply... What are the common expanded staples for me to add to mew3 deck?

I only know that I probably have to add 2 guzmas and cut maybe 1 switch and 1 boss or something.

Shoul i just open all the tradeablw packs i have that arent darkness ablaze or do ppl actually trade for them things like teamup, unbroken bonds, swird and shield, rebel clash etc

When I play with my own deck, the matchmaking puts me against other people with their own decks, but when I play with a theme deck, the matchmaking puts me against other people with theme decks

Been on a 10 win streak in Expanded with this hoss today. Seems perfected wanted to show it off/see if anyone had any suggestions otherwise. Very straight forward, just mill yourself and take prizes however you see fit.

Donphan (LOT 112) Expanded Deck?

Hello guys,

I had a 1-2 year break and don't really have new cards to play standard. I checked some of my now Expanded Decks and i figured that Donphan 112/214 from LOT still hits like a truck. My Deck currently runs a pretty old drawing engine with macargo, sightseer, lillie etc. and i believe it could be better with some newer cards added. Do you guys have any ideas what to put in or do you even have your own expanded Donphan Deck?

Best Way Into Legacy or Expanded?

Just looking for general advice like maybe which pack codes to buy for trading or good forums/content creators to follow. Maybe some advice on how to flip packs on ptcgo. I've been playing meta decks in standard for the past couple weeks but I'm not a huge fan of the format.

What do after theme decks?

So I've been playing for the last few weeks using theme decks. I have the Sirfetch'd and Kyogre decks that I got from Walmart. I'm starting to get the hang of things but want to move into something different.

What is the next game type that I should play? I'm less interested in playing against the same decks over and over again (ADP, or whatever) isn't really for me.

I'm definitely more casual and just looking to mix it up.

I also scanned about 100 codes and have a bunch of packs that I haven't opened, but as I understand it's better for me not to open them, correct?

Appreciate any and all advice. This community is great.

How long does it take to be able to play the game?

Recently got back into the tcg, used to play about a year ago at my local game store but they had to close down due to covid. Is it possible to be able to build a deck after playing the game for awhile? It feels like you have to have a bunch of codes in order to be able to build even a budget deck. Ive been playing theme deck battles recently, is that the best way to advance?
