    Hey everyone, I want some advice on this deck list. I wanted to make a deck with my favorite Tyranitar. No GX or V cards. Been having some success with it knocking down some tag teams when the draw is good.

    What are some good budget Standard or Expanded decks post rotation? New player looking to move up from from Theme tourneys

    As an avid Magic the Gathering player there are so many online resources explaining meta budget options, upgrade paths, the best places to start, etc. All of which I am having great difficulty finding in the PTCGO world.

    I have been going through the standard intro process, buy theme decks, grind them in tourneys, etc. But I want to get into something more exciting and less linear.

    To start with, I can't find much information about format differences between Expanded and Standard (apart from cards and rotation, obviously), mostly on which is a healthier format, which would be more accessible as a new/budget person, which is better to try getting into. From MTG experience, I assume the answer is standard.

    Following that is the frequently asked question 'whats a good deck to get'.

    I tried using ptcgo prices to find out prices of some budget decks, but most returned no prices as there were no listings I assume.

    Excadrill in the meta decks looked cheap at first glance, but I couldn't find prices for basically everything. Is it any good?

    Are any of the budget decks - Cinderace or Mad Party worth investing in as a starting point?

    If so, are there any worthwhile theme decks to buy that would help build them? And then how do I get the other cards if they aren't even up for trade!

    Or are there better options and resources elsewhere?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Hey, I'm trying to log in on my mac but I get the error "Could not reach Pokemon.com login service. Try again in a minute" I tried again and again, turned the game off and on. It still gives the same error. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Most Efficient Way to Obtain All Standard Cards?

    I've been playing PTCG for awhile with physical cards, but with the pandemic I've been missing playing. I play standard and was wondering what's the best way to go about getting those cards? I'm willing to spend some money, but want to limit the cost as much as I reasonably can.

    Can you use cards from an official League Battle Deck in other custom decks?

    Best theme decks for standard/expanded trainers

    New player but I'm picking the game up very quickly. I'm playing a lot of versus and have fully cleared gold and platinum trainer challenge. I got the sirfetchd and drednaw theme decks so far and I have enough to get another.

    Which theme deck would you say has the most trainer value for standard decks? I don't think my f2p collection will be able to hang in expanded (toxtricity v and stonejourner v pile), but if the current options don't get me much past what I already have from sirfetchd and drednaw, what deck has the most useful expanded trainers, looking to the future?

    I could probably click through them and do that research, but I figure someone has a quick impression based on having more experience. Thanks!

    Update: I went ahead and did the research anyway after reading some comments. I think I'm going to pick up Unseen Depths despite the fact that I already have a water deck for quests. It contains 2 pokemon communicator, 2 Cynthia, and 2 draw energy, which I have none of and which I think would significantly upgrade my scraped together standard deck compared to nothing new from Rillaboom. I considered Soaring Storm, but it doesn't have the draw energies and would only help with dragon quests. If there's any relevant analysis I'm missing, let me know!

    Can someone explain ways a tie can occur?

    I'm a little hacked off right now. I just played a round where my opponent's last turn knocked out my Druddigon with his Heatran-GX to take his final prize card, leaving me with two prize cards.

    However, Druddigon had a Dragon Talon tool attached, which combined with its Rough Skin ability, put 60 damage on the attacking Heatran-GX, knocking it out. I took my final two prize cards and was expecting to move to a tie-breaker round, when the DEFEAT! image flashed up.

    Can anyone explain why this wouldn't be considered a tie, seeing as both players took all six of their prize cards?

    So I just unboxed this Pikachu VMax Rainbow Rare out of the vivid voltage set irl, that is supposed to be very rare. Should I keep it or sell it? Also, do you think it will lose value over time?
