    What are some expanded decks that want to go first?

    It's hard to tell given the lack of coverage on expanded gameplay. Many evolution decks may want to go second due to having access to a supporter to set up harder or due to having a good attack still.

    What are the rules on ties?

    I just had a case where in knocking out my Galarian Stunfisk for their last prize - trapping bite did enough recoil to KO my opponent's Pokémon, and I took my last 4 prizes (Vmax with Altered Creation in play).

    I feel like in the past when this has happened it's forced a reset with first prize winning. However this time I was given a defeat. Does anyone know what the conditions for getting the tie are, or if it's something that's changed recently?

    Hi guys, the other day I asked here what I should do with my ViV packs and most of people said that I should trade them for DAA.

    Well, I did that and I understand DAA is a better expansion, but what's the point if basically all trades are using ViV as currency?

    I'm real sick of theme decks

    I really am not having a good time. So close to finishing my standard deck, Mad Party. I only need some trainers and 3 Galarian Mr. Rimes. So I have to grind ladder for tickets, then grind tournaments. My past few tournaments have been pretty bad. I have been donked on two tournaments in a row. Feels really bad. Either that or I just draw energy or useless Pokémon that I don't need.

    I have no problem losing if it is my fault, if I misplay or I built my deck poorly. It just feels bad to lose with these inconsistent decks. I don't even feel good when I win, because it just feels like I got lucky, not that I played well or better than my opponent.

    I can't wait till I finish my standard deck so I never have to play a theme deck ever again.

    Helpful tip for anyone who’s been trying to get their hands on codes: they sell them in bulk on eBay for less then 2 dollars I would highly recommend buying off eBay if you need codes (haven’t been scammed yet)

    I want to build my own deck and have been but I always seem to be out maneuvered by others (I dont have the best cards in standard because I took a 2 year break and expanded decks play lame from my experience). I followed one of the very in detail guides out there but ofcourse they dont go into detail on the good competitive cards out there atm. What websites or tricks do you guys recommend for building decks/ picking what cards to use?

    Tips for someone getting back into the tcg?

    I used to play pokemon a lot a few years ago but i quit for a while, now that I'm bored in quarantine I've gotten back into the online tcg. If anyone has tips about the meta, what to do to get more cards and what not, I'd appreciate it!

    Decklists for all formats?

    Hey guys! I'm a veteran tcg player but only started playing ptcgo recently, was wondering where I can find good current decklists for standard, expanded, and legacy.

    I'm currently playing standard with greenzard from the league battle deck and a centiskorch tourney list from limitless (which isn't very good on the ladder, too many techs). Looking to branch off and try legacy/expanded too but want to net deck first off so I can learn the cards :)

    Expanded: I can't tell if the lists I'm finding online are current, and usually there isn't a large variety which I was hoping to find

    Legacy: i can find current lists (obviously lol) but they seem to all be screenshots in low res and I can't make out the cards

    Any help would be appreciated!!

    Edit: sorry I forgot to mention I know YouTube but I'm working 2 jobs and just don't have the time or capacity, looking for websites I can read while I'm at work on break etc.
