What VMAX should I build my deck around?

    Posted: 08 Dec 2020 09:04 AM PST

I recently got into collecting cards and I would like to build a deck. I have a good amount of Vmax cards and I was wondering which card I should build around for my first deck. Here are the ones I'm considering:

    4 Salamence VMAX, 3 V 2 Toxtricity VMAX, 3 V Eternatus VMAX, 3 V Centiskorch VMAX, 1 V Coalossal VMAX, 1V Rillaboom VMAX, 1V

I've got 10 vivid voltage packs, and I'm looking to flip cards for more packs. I'm really new to this, so are there any cards I should try to trade for and flip?

    Best New Packs to Buy?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2020 05:47 PM PST

    Hi,

Stepped away from the game for awhile, but now I'm back. What are the best new packs to buy? For reference, I haven't purchased packs since Rebel Clash. I haven't even read up on what's hot right now nor do I know any of the new cards... Just looking for general feedback, so feel free to comment with your thoughts!

Is Elo rating not that important? I'm sacrificing it to do the daily challenges

    Posted: 07 Dec 2020 09:37 PM PST

Not that players can even see their Elo ratings, but is it really that big of a deal? I'm imagining it to be a mark of prestige like the chess rating system. However, some of the daily challenges require you to go on Versus Mode and basically get your ass kicked for a while. I just had one that required evolving 12 Fighting Pokemon. No big deal, I thought. I'll just load up Mach Strike and fulfill the daily challenge after a few wins, but that's not what happened. Mach Strike doesn't have fighting evolutions other than Lucario and Hippowdon, so I had to use a weaker deck like Rock Steady instead. And of course, I lost more games than I won, probably dropping my rating as a result.

But there's no other way around it if you want to complete the daily challenges, so are you just supposed to play weaker decks and be at the mercy of stronger decks? Did my opponents get lucky with curbstomping a player who was just contriving gameplay for the sake of meeting arbitrary requirements? I mean for all I know, some of my opponents could have been doing the same thing with me and conceded the game as soon as their daily challenges were complete.

What to do with 82 pack?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2020 03:13 PM PST

I'm new to the game and have 82/87 packs from the new expansion; what to do? Open them all or swap them to immediately get a good/decent deck?

Can you report a "player" ingame after a battle?

    Posted: 08 Dec 2020 03:38 AM PST

When the game ends and you check your opponent´s deck you can see it was a copy-paste bot deck (Yveltal EX, Lugia EX, Mewtwo EX, Lucario EX etc). Can you report it right away ingame or do you have to file a ticket?

Never Thought I would Get this one!

I know Unbroken Bonds Spiritomb is a good card, but seriously what is the going rate for this thing in packs because it seems crazy?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2020 10:45 PM PST

I feel like I'm offering more for this than I've ever offered for a card before and no one is biting.

    Is team yell grunt glitched?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2020 07:43 PM PST

Sorry if this has been discussed. I scrolled a bit but couldn't find it.

Team yell grunt is currently not working at all for me. I've used it multiple times trying to target the bench and active and it is able to be played but has no affect.

    Is this a known glitch?

How exactly do you deal with a huge Pokémon when removal doesn't exist?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2020 05:27 PM PST

I'm extremely new to this game. From what I've gathered, removal isn't a thing. If it is, I haven't seen it yet.

So when I'm facing a poke with 270 HP (just an example) and my Pokémon on the bench don't have much energy if any on them, what can I do? Is that just an auto loss at that point?
