Pokémon TCG Triple Reshiram in one pack! I think I just spent all my lucky |
- Triple Reshiram in one pack! I think I just spent all my lucky
- Thought this was funny, 3 dragon gods vs 1 water boi
- After 17 heads/turns, 1080 damage and 0 of my prize cards taken my opponent (inteleonVmax/LaprasVmax) had enough and conceded. Love my Rapidash (TEU) troll deck when it works.
- A VMAX to go with my two Charizard V cards! I think I’d need another vmax to actually make a deck though.
- Pulled a radiant collection reshiram from legendary treasures booster, didn't even know that was possible since it isn't listed in the normal set list but rather RC is a set of its own. Is that actually how these cards were distributed?
- What a beautiful trio of the trio
- New to game!
- Just started today! I love it!
- Double Hit!!
- "Should I just open the unlocked VIV pack?" -Me, seconds before opening this
- just logged into my old account from when i was a kid, any idea how many packs these legacy staples are worth?
- Pulled a tup jirachi from a chest a couple of weeks ago (again)
- A christmas gift
- New Player looking for deck ideas
- I suggest you look at your emails!
- People spamming Next Destinies Raichu in public trade offers
- Client made specifically for trading in PTCGO
- I think this is the most ridiculous win I've ever gotten.
- New player, what theme deck should I grab?
- Decklist help
- AI going easy on me by choosing weaker attacks or by not attacking altogether?
- Running outta time
- Is there a site that compares the value of packs to each other?
- Why people aren't playing field blower in expanded Pikarom?
- Have people been sleeping on the Hydro Fury deck?

Posted: 19 Dec 2020 04:20 AM PST I have recently started playing pokemon online. To bolster my online collection i was thinking of buying physical product. However what would you all reccomend i purchase? Do certain promo boxes give you more rewards when redeemed online as well? [link] [comments] |
Just started today! I love it! Posted: 18 Dec 2020 07:48 PM PST I have been wanting to get into the TCG for a long time. But no one I knew played it. Then I learned about The online game. I posted here today asking some questions. So after looking into it I downloaded the game and started to play. i did 2 hours today. I am not great against other peple as I dont really have any powerful cards. So I have been playing on VS mode with the premade decks. I did order a couple booster codes from Ebay and found a site called Card Caravan that seems good. Does anyone have any experience with them? How long does it take to get the code? How do they give it to you? I want to build a strong water deck. i love my water Mons. i would really love to have squritle and his evos and a tododile and his evos. Are they in the game? Is there a way I can get just those cards? or do I have to get boosters and hop for the best? Also when building a deck what is a good ratio of Pokemon, Trainers cards and energy cards? Should I stick to one type like water or fire? Or can i mix types and still be good? Thanks for all the help :) [link] [comments] |

People spamming Next Destinies Raichu in public trade offers Posted: 18 Dec 2020 09:13 PM PST What's up with people listing this unplayable card dozens of times in public lobbies in return for standard playable cards? having to scroll through so many of these listings is annoying, and I've blocked and reported most of the spammers, but nothing has come of it. Is there some rogue deck tech using this Raichu that has suddenly spiked in popularity? If not, why are so many people posting so many trades involving this card? I feel like i'm missing out on something here. Thanks so much! [link] [comments] |
Client made specifically for trading in PTCGO Posted: 19 Dec 2020 05:34 AM PST Is there any client made specifically for trading in the game? I find the in-game public trading to be quite non-user-friendly. When I want to look for new listings, at the 8h mark, I have to scroll through all the offers to reach where I want to see, like spending 5 minutes every time I need to get there, and do that all over again if I need to refresh to see new trade offers. I know there is a site called Realtime PTCGO Card Prices (ptcgoprices.com) , I wonder what mechanics it uses to fetch data from the game, and could it potentially be something that we could make use of to look up newest trade offers in real time? I think this is the most ridiculous win I've ever gotten. Posted: 18 Dec 2020 11:27 PM PST Dude was running Keldeo-GX, which negates damage from other GX cards. Ordinarily, this would not necessarily be a problem since I have a couple fairly strong non-GX attackers in the deck I was using, but a series of unlucky events saw them either prized or discarded by Professor's Research. I had a whopping three Catcher cards in my initial hand that could have forced Keldeo-GX out but discarded them with my first Professor's Research before Keldeo-GX came into play. I had zero cards remaining on my last turn (I had seven cards when my turn started and drew them all with my last Professor's Research) when I was able to pop off a Gigafall GX that discarded the rest of my opponent's deck and decked him out on his next turn. Thank you, Alolan Grimer, for the draw support that helped me get through my awful shuffling. [link] [comments] |

AI going easy on me by choosing weaker attacks or by not attacking altogether? Posted: 18 Dec 2020 11:03 PM PST Does anybody else experience this when they play against the AI-controlled opponents in the Trainer Challenge? Like I know there's no human opponent if I'm playing single player, so it must be on purpose if the computer is blatantly choosing such horrible moves. I don't think the game designers would program the AI to toy with you, but they sometimes choose weaker attacks even though they have the energy to do stronger attacks that have no drawback. It must not be a glitch because they sometimes end their turns altogether without even attacking despite being able to and not suffering any disadvantages by doing so. No reasonable person would choose such moves, so my guess is that the algorithm in charge of the opponent's moves is programmed to go easy on the player sometimes for whatever reason. Is this true? Will they just feel bad for you and deliberately go easier during certain times? [link] [comments] |

Is there a site that compares the value of packs to each other? Posted: 18 Dec 2020 04:52 PM PST Hey guys, I have just gotten back into playing the game. I have a load of DAA packs and wondering how much they were worth in relation to vivid voltage packs. Same goes for champions path, I am looking to update and build some more decks. Thanks for any help! [link] [comments] |
Why people aren't playing field blower in expanded Pikarom? Posted: 18 Dec 2020 02:15 PM PST Am i missing something or is nobody playing it because one guy decided so and everybody followed him? It's such a staple card in every deck and it feels even more important on a deck that only plays one prism star stadium. How do you even deal with swell and silent lab without it? And why are people playing escape rope? I can see it being useful when the stars align, but i've tried it for 10 games and i've always found it at the wrong time and it never proved to be worth the bench space. So far dumping escape rope for field blower felt waaay better. I am just wondering if i'm missing something [link] [comments] |
Have people been sleeping on the Hydro Fury deck? Posted: 19 Dec 2020 12:39 AM PST A little background: I got back into the PTCGO after a long hiatus a few days ago, and seeing as I don't currently have any relevant decks I decided to start grinding with theme decks. I hadn't happened to have bought any of the newer meta theme decks, but I decided to start using my old Hydro Fury deck that I still had (Swampert deck if people need a reminder). This deck actually matched up against most decks really well! Beats the Zard based decks unless you brick, beats almost every other relevant deck depending on the strategy, and can even sometimes beat the Soaring Storm theme deck (although it's definitely the hardest matchup that's not weakness based). I've been able to pretty consistently win those 8 person theme deck tournaments, so I don't think that I'm necessarily just going against bad players and that inflates my results. This deck has: Drawing power (Perts, Magcargo, decent amount of supporters like Copycat, Lillie, Hau, Tate&Liza, and Kukui) Strong attackers (Perts, FrostTom are definitely the best, with Abomasnow working if you can get the energy on, I've once gotten a Magcargo going with 3 KOs lol) Energy acceleration (Masked Royal, Abomasnow) Pokémon searching (Nest Balls, a Timer Ball, a Ultra Ball, Apricorn Maker) Card recovery (Rescue Stretcher, Lure Ball, Delcatty) Decent T1 attackers (Dunsparce Furfrou) Cards with nice utility (Escape Rope is amazing, and Kukui gives you crucial knockouts sometimes as well!) I just find how good Pert is as an attacker, as well as how reliable this deck can be once it gets rolling at getting backup attackers rolling (can attach 3 energies to a Pert in 1 turn thanks to Masked Royal and Abomasnow), largely in part thanks to Magcargo, really makes this deck a very very solid option. All these factors combine to make it a solid alternative to other prominent decks. [link] [comments] |
