| Has anybody else played PTCGO so much that their iPad suffered screen burn-in? Posted: 17 Dec 2020 08:50 PM PST I think the term for this is ghosting, but we don't use that word anymore because it has a different meaning nowadays. I'm also pretty sure that this is the reason screensavers were invented: to prevent an image from becoming permanently stuck on a screen due to the same color pixel being stuck in a position for a long time without changing. Well, I've confirmed that it's not just my eyes that are messed up from staring at the screen for too long. My iPad has a faintly visible Poke Ball in the center for the middle of the play field from playing this game too much. It's clearer on the home screen and on the web browser when the background is all white. I guess this is a fault of Apple and not so much of PTCGO. But couldn't they have created a dynamic, moving background specifically to prevent this? If the pixels changed colors even a little bit, this wouldn't have happened. If anybody remembers Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul for the GBA from 2002, that game had a moving background that changed whenever you played a field card. What if PTCGO's next update did the same thing but with Stadium cards? | Best way to go about gathering cards? (newbie) Posted: 17 Dec 2020 01:42 PM PST Hi! I'm new to pokemon tcgo (and pokemon tcg in general). I was wondering what the best way to go about gathering cards and being able to make my own decks is? I know there are quite a few booster packs to choose from, as well as the online codes for sale. I also watched a few youtube videos that mentioned buying theme decks and grinding versus, so that's what I've been doing. Just curious if anyone has any advice on how to best grow my collection and get to where I can start learning/building some quality decks in the future. Cheers! [link] [comments] |

At the moment I only miss the adps, but I have everything else (including dedennes, crobats, eldegoss, mawile, 3 zacians). Just for the chance of sniping something? I personally think I'd maybe prefer to run Incineroar GX. When facing MewMew, the fact that an Incineroar GX might end in the discard really puts a lot of pressure on me, since it lets MewMew retaliate for huge amounts of damage.
