Theme format is really fun but I am looking to also get into Standard without spending too much/alot of grinding. I heard that the Leon+Charizard deck is good in Standard and i have the cards for the main deck (the charizard and trainers). Im curious which supporting Pokemon i should use? | Posted: 03 Dec 2020 09:49 AM PST This seems like an nice way to get a Crobat V. Since this comes out in 2 months however I don't know if this will affect Crobat V's price in the short run. It is nice that Pokemon is printing these chase cards so that newer players can get them easily. There are a couple other neat products, such as Mad Party collection boxes, Shiny Pokemon Tins featuring Eldegoss V, Cramorant V, and Boltund V and a Dragapult VMAX box, however this is probably the most interesting product for you folks. I opened some packs and the year on the Pokemon cards was 2017 but the code card has a year of 2014 & 2015. Just want to make sure this is normal and the packs weren't resealed/tampered with. So far I'm doing okay against Zacian and Eternatus, but my judgement could be flawed as I'm still a "newbie" at this game. Only thing I've noticed after using the deck is that it can feel somewhat lackluster (since Custom Catcher and Heat Factory got rotated out). What are your thoughts on the deck? [link] [comments] |

| Card Values and Budget Decks... Posted: 03 Dec 2020 07:45 AM PST Hey guys, I've been out for a while so I figured I'd hit you up with a couple of questions. I know that OU7C4ST's card value page has been gone for a while, has anything filled that void? Things like that are SUPER helpful to me, mainly because I don't get to play enough that I know what the best decks are, or what the mega hyped cards are. Secondly, I looked at the precons for Vivid Voltage and it's kinda hard to look away from that Charizard. Should I try to build off of that deck? Has that Charizard flooded since it's available in the precons? What's a good place for me to start for building a new standard deck? Or I'll just take any deck ideas from you. | Deck building help: Charizard and Alcremie VMAX Posted: 02 Dec 2020 02:45 PM PST Hello all! First post here so forgive me if I broke any rules, but I needed some suggestions for my deck! I'm using the Charizard from the Relentless Flames deck to fetch energy to set up for hard hitting Alcremie VMAX attacks. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to make that happen more consistently and faster? Any cards that come to mind when I mention this combo? | Power Plant or Chaotic Swell in Lucmetal? Posted: 02 Dec 2020 04:32 PM PST Which of the two do you think is best suited in a Lucmetal deck. Chaotic Swell is great for getting rid of many stadiums which is in itself amazing. Power Plant can prevent early dedenne digs, Heatran GX ability, and Mewtwo & Mew GX but it can be destroyed easily to be dealt with. Side note. The deck will play marshadow with power plant.
