    I've been enjoying playing 8-man elimination and versus but now I'm wondering if Pokemon hosts anything else in the expanded format.

    Flipping for packs?

    I have been playing theme for quite a while, but read on here that playing standard allows you to grind the ladder and daily rewards faster, so I've started building my first standard deck.

    I've gone for pikarom and I'm only missing a few cards from what I already had (boltunds, dedennes, a single mew3, quick balls and a couple of speed lightning's)

    My question, is flipping cards for packs at all possible, and if so what should I be looking for? Crobats? Stuff from BTS? I am trying to trade off some pulls for packs so I can either finish my deck or flip to get enough to build my deck, but unsure the best way about it.

    Coming back to standard after 5 years. No VS seeker?

    I've only ever played when vs seeker was legal in standard, and without it I'm not quite sure how many supporters I need to play or what I should use to get them back. You guys have any tips?

    Rapid or single ?

    My first ever built deck was ss urshifu cause the pull rate are mostly ss cards. Been having fun overpowering opponent in one hit, plus pull out ss card combo to draw + recycle card back to deck.

    But I started seeing rapid urshifu + dragopult deck combo, and most tournament claim it has higher win rate then SS urshifu.

    Won't rapid + dragopult deck combo bricked if we draw the wrong energy , stuck on active ? Or have less dmg output where opponent keep spamming healing?

    Just want to know some other opinions. Thanks

    Help a Newb, folks!

    I started playing two days ago. Finished the gold league and unlocked the three standard decks (fire, electric, and water ones). I don't know where to go from here. How do I get the 4th star on the AI trainers? Do I need to make more gold coins and buy a new deck? There are so many! Can you suggest a good 4th deck?

    Tournament Multiboxing?

    I just encountered the weirdest 8 person expanded tournament. I entered with 1/8 and all of a sudden the tournament started.

    Every single person I played in the tournament played the same fighting deckbox and sirfetch'd coin and what seemed to be the same deck of swsh base set fighting pokemon. They also had to be intentionally trying to lose because 2 out of 3 games a sonia was played for 2 basic energy. Even stranger was even though I donked my opponent in game one all 3 of my opponents were done before me which based on their decks should be impossible based on what they were playing without immediately conceding.

    I can only assume this was the same person running the game on multiple applications. That or some sort of fail safe to make sure tournaments actually run after a certain time from the software itself. I have relatively high ELO and have been playing tournaments for years and have never seen anything like this. Has anyone else encountered this?

    Should I trade away secret rare Urshifu VMAX for packs right now or hold onto it?

    It's worth a decent amount of battle styles packs and I don't need it, I assume the price of the card is going to go down quite a bit and I want to maintain some value.

    The plan is to get the honch lock asap and then end ur turn by putting an omanyte down with the research labs. Next turn u evo the omastar so that you can lock items, stadiums, special energy, and tools. Also get your black market down asap too.

    I am a terrible human being for thinking up this deck. I take full responsibility if this becomes the next meta deck for expanded (doubt it but whatever).

    Why is the leaderboard not registering my versus matches/points?

    I was checking the standard and expanded format leaderboards for tcgo on the Play Pokémon website.

    I signed in and it says I have not played any versus matches this month - even though I got all the prizes promos this month.

    Am I doing something wrong?
