| Posted: 23 Jun 2021 07:07 AM PDT While Shadow Rider Calyrex has been the star of CRE, the set adds a lot of new tools for Dragapult VMAX. I've played this deck since it came out and while I've always liked it the deck has struggled with consistency. Mad Hatter and both Urishifu decks made it far more viable, especially with the later causing a drop in Eternatus. Cresselia and Fog Crystal have made all the difference, making it much easier to be set up by T2 (I hated running Energy Spinner so much). I've found myself of enjoying Cresselia as it makes it easy to set up regardless of it I go first or not given Dragapults low attack requirement. The only deck I find myself struggling with are Eternatus and ADPZ. Given the type advantage over Dragapult I usually just take my lose and move on (I've won a few but only when they have a horrible starting hand). I've thought about running Avery but it feels situational at best for a match up I would still likely lose against. I've seen some people comment about running a single Galarian Zapdos and Aurora Energy (still sounds bad I'm my opinion?). Hit a win streak recently of over ten so I feel good about this deck but I'm still unsure what to do about ADPZ aside from wait for rotation. The one thing I am debating right now I swapping out some of the Horror Psychic Energy for standard Psychic Energy. The chip damage from them is nice but lately I've been running into more folks using Giratina to discard them. I'm addition to that I have had a few games where I go second but I have a few psychic energy prized and/or already in my hand killing the attachment I would get from Cresselia. ****** Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck List ****** Pokémon - 16

| Anyone else having difficulty with Chilling Reigns packs? Posted: 22 Jun 2021 08:14 PM PDT Anyone else having really bad luck with Chilling Reigns packs? I was excited because I took the plunge buying and opening 60 packs only to find that my haul was 1 Full Art Ice Rider Calyrex V and 1 Zapdos V. Only 2 Pokemon V out of 60 packs. I feel like it wasn't nearly as difficult getting at least a Pokemon V from any of the other recent expacs that, if you weren't going to use in a deck, at least you could trade for something. I know the packs are completely random with each open unlike buying a physical booster box, but I'm curious if this has been a trend for others opening Chilling Reigns packs (maybe due to how big the set is?), or if I'm just extremely unlucky. Posted: 22 Jun 2021 07:26 PM PDT Trick coin says "you may only use effects that let you flip coins again, including effects from other cards, once during your turn." The card is pretty old (2014) so I was wondering if this rule still applies (in expanded of course). ie: Can trick coin, victini's victory star ability, and glimwood tangle all stack for three reflips or can you only use one per turn? It met all the expanded criteria for play in versus (& has been used in versus often) but wasn't allowed in event. How can I find out why the deck wasn't playable?
