Expanded decklists that hard counter ADPZ

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 09:24 AM PDT

with the new rewards I'm seeing a influx of ADP deck, what are some decks that hard counter it? I want to make players that use it as misarable as possible and rack some free wins, I'm well aware about pokemon ranger and evolutions clefairy

right now my decks that fit this criteria are:

    • reshizard with evolutions clefairy
    • lucmetal (although I'm not sure if it's as good as people say it is to counter ADPZ)
    • mew (memories of dawn) box, I have a 80+% percent winrate against ADPZ with it, which is really high for a single prizer deck tbh
    • togekiss control
    • aerodactyl control (kinda iffy at that tbh)
    • honchkrow (although it doesn't make me any better than if I was playing adpz myself, and also not very good at the job as I would hope)

    any other suggestions?

Need some information regarding prizes from players who played in the spring Team Challenge

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 07:58 AM PDT

Hoping someone can help out with this information. My LGS has been very wishy-washy with us about physical prizes, in particular the playmats that winners of the qualifies were supposed to recieve. They finally gave us each a mat, but it isn't the Gigantamax Pikachu mat that was advertised by rk9labs. Were the Pikachu playmat's only for certain placings? The whole experience has really soured relationships between the LGS my team played for and my teammates and I, and we just want to make sure we're not complaining about something in error. Thanks in advance for any help given.

    Trainer Challenge help

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 07:13 AM PDT

    Hi, new player here,
i've read up a bit and one post said that the 4th star is acquired by having a fourth playable deck, but it said something about a "boundariescrossed" promo code, but the game tells me the promotion has ended when i try to redeem it.

I already got a deck called "Mental Might" but i can't use it in the trainer challenges.

    What do i do?

Help me finish this meme deck! (ʘᴗʘ✿)

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 02:33 AM PDT

Good day trainers, need help finishing a deck. It's basically Exanded ADP x4 but with the new Kecleon! Now we just need to play more energies instead of Pokémon that ruins the consistency.

Did my best, still stumped on what to cut! (≧▽≦) If you have any other ways to play the deck, please do tell. Thank you.

Sableye V no longer needs to rely on Turbo Patch with Galarian Moltres V! It’s also a decent secondary attacker. What do you think?

    Rotation Question

    Posted: 21 Jun 2021 11:47 PM PDT

Okay so I've been getting into this for a whole month and now I'm learning about rotation and I'm a but confused.

I've been thinking about building a deck around Gardevoir GX but then someone asked if they were still playable with the next rotation? I've read a couple articles but I didn't get a firm answer.

Anyone that might be of help is greatly appreciated.

Best decks for new player to fill out collection

    Posted: 21 Jun 2021 11:42 PM PDT

I just started playing again after a 10 year break. I've completed both the gold and platinum levels of the Trainer Challenge, getting 4 stars on each one. I've picked up a few decks from the shop, but I'm looking for suggestions of which of the other decks would be best to fill out my collection.

Fairy and Dark are the two types I don't have enough of to do much with. Could probably also do with more trainer cards, and anything to help give me any chance against stuff like V, V-Max, and EX heavy decks.

I've gotten the Luminous Frost, Mach Strike, Rock Steady, and Soaring Storm decks. I've made a fire deck, fighting deck, water deck, dark/psychic deck, so stuff to make a grass, electric, steel, fairy, and dragon deck would also be good.

    Thanks in advance.

    Let people do quests

    Posted: 21 Jun 2021 12:04 PM PDT

Saw a dude on ladder today doing evolution quests. Set up an attacker then passed until he finished and conceded. Everybody, if you see someone playing down a bunch of random basics of the same type and not playing many trainers, let them do their thing. They will give you the win. It's free ladder points, and by waiting a couple minutes you will save them a lot of trouble.

Looking for good resources for deck building and keeping up w/meta, since Charizard Lounge is gone?

    Posted: 21 Jun 2021 12:09 PM PDT

I used to play standard a while back, but have found myself mostly playing themed for the past year or so, since Charizard Lounge closed.

Are there any other websites or resources for keeping up with deck building, the meta and what top players are using at the various regional tournaments?

New expanded ladder, new ladder predictions!

    Posted: 21 Jun 2021 10:40 AM PDT

Thank you jkwon for doing it last time, I was on a very long drive and couldn't access Reddit. As always, if you have a specific prediction, comment it and see if you get it right! There have been a couple people who have gotten it previously 👀. Also keep in mind this is an expanded ladder, but they have been known to mix things.

How would you update this Inteleon deck for Chilling Reign?

    Posted: 21 Jun 2021 05:51 PM PDT

Hey guys, I haven't played the TCG in over 20 years and just recently started again. A friend recommended me to buy the Inteleon VMAX League Battle deck as a start and I've been acquiring staple cards since. I'm currently using Tricky Gym's Inteleon VMAX deck from a month ago. I understand the new set just came out a few days ago, but I can't find any new deck lists or videos for it which is why I'm asking here.

Swapping out the three base set Sobbles for Chilling Reign Sobbles is the only thing that I have done so far. I know that you probably want to be running Melony, Path to the Peak, Froslass, and some other new cards, but I'm not sure how many and what to take out for them. Has anyone updated theirs for Chilling Reign and can give me some advice on what to do? Thanks!
