    Honestly… Rayquaza VMAX kinda sucks. Which hurts to say.

    Yeah I said it. I know it breaks your heart along with mine. I'm holding hope for the future, it's definitely missing something but I don't know what.

    Major flaws: - Extremely reliant on a perfect first draw… only one level ball? Good luck. No stormy mountain? See ya. No fire energy? Ha. No draw support? Eh… - Finding lightning energy to discard is much harder than it sounds unless you want to play 15+ energy - Majority of your supporters end up in the discard - Not enough options for draw support (Marnie is a pointless card, bird keepers actually more valuable) - Early discard of pal pad or rod or rescue kills your game - Auto loss to most bench sniping decks - Path with no counter in hand… game over. You're playing majority of the game with 3 or less cards in your hand - Basically dead unless you have 3 flaafy and two vmax with balloons onboard

    I've played my own build, Azul's and Tricky's, plus a hybrid of mine and theirs (with Zeraora and one less Vmax + Allister of all cards lol). Personally this was the best one only because Zeraora comes in clutch.

    Pre-rotation I tried with a mew and didn't notice much of a better game. So it's not necessarily the bench sniping. I think it's more the lack of draw support in all honesty.

    Don't get me wrong once you're set up it's an amazing deck. But you only get a full setup going probably 1 in 10 or worse games. And by set up I mean at least 3 flaafy on the bench with 2 VMAX, not including kricket.

    I'm gonna hold my cards and see what happens in the future, there might be some more support that'll help this deck but for now I've given up trying to make it work because it really doesn't want to. I'm glad I only had to trade for one v and vmax.

    Sorry to those I offend with this post lol but I'm just as upset as you are.

    It's literally one of the worst search functions i've ever seen (even worse than the app I'm posting this on.) 10 years into this game and I don't think it's been reworked AT ALL. What gives?

    IRL or PTCGO?

    I used to play IRL when I was a kid but about 2 years ago I started playing on and off on ptcgo. I recently got back into it heavily with the release of battle styles. I wanted to start building IRL decks for suture tournaments, however, with supply issues and scalpers a muck in the community I think I've decided to switch to completely online play. I loved buying packs but it's just too crazy now a days. Maybe I'll just buy singles of a deck that works for me online if I decide to go back to IRL tournaments.

    Anyways, this community has helped me a lot so I wanted to know what you all thought and what your plans where after tournaments come back. Are you going to try in the IRL format or just continue playing online?

    Also does anyone know how to register for some of these online tournaments?

    Why is Flareon V not in Evolving Skies?

    I saw Flareon VMAX going for just 1 EVS and thought I could make a budget deck, but then saw Flareon V was 5 EVS! Turns out that its not in Evolving Skies and can only be obtained in Eevee Evolution tins or FA. Why is the VMAX in the set and not the regular V when there are no previous versions available?

    Do you think it will hold its value, say if I trade for it to try out the deck?

    I just opened 100 CRE Packs and Got ZERO V cards…

    I can't believe it. I just opened 100 straight CRE packs and got not a single V, full art V, Vmax, SR, Inteleon, ANYTHING of value. I just opened 20 EVO packs and then pulled 2 Umbreon Vmax, 2 Rayquaza Vmax…? What gives? Does anyone else experience moments when the game seems to favor an expansion with hits more than another?

    I'm new at the game and somehow managed to get this vmax in just a few packs, I don't really know what a pack is worth in terms of currency but it looks like it's good deal, lmk what you think.

    Sorry for the noob question, but I just got a bulk lot of codes for booster packs from VIV, CRE, and EVS. From what I can work out I should trade the CRE and EVS and open the VIV since they're not worth much in trades. Does that sound about right? Thanks!

    I am aware of some cards, but it's a pain to go to your decks and figure it out. Does anyone have a better way of doing this than going through each deck?

    Help against this deck

    Recently I'm facing a ton of dragapult vmax deck, I mostly use an inteleon/decidueye deck but with their attack that ignores my ability it's almost useless. Is there any deck which wins often against this deck?

    Me & my gf are wanting to get into the PTCGO but she has no experience at all with trading card games and I haven't played since the Pokemon TCG first came out1 lol when I was a kid. So I'm basically the same.
