Getting back into ptcgo and looking for resources to help. Posted: 04 Sep 2021 08:16 PM PDT The LGS I work for wants me to start running paper events, and I want to use ptcgo to refamiliarize myself with the game. What are your favorite resources to use? I'm coming back from magic the gathering so we have goldfish that publishes top decks, card price changes, and strategy articles. Is there anything like that? I have a lot of older stuff on ptcgo, should I look into trading for packs to build out standard decks or wait until I know the expanded meta better so I don't accidentally trade important cards. These events feature a variety of rule sets and occur at different days/times; hopefully everybody can find at least one event that appeals to them and fits their schedule. The events are completely free and all players are welcome to participate! Tournament Lineup Clicking on each tournament links you to its page on Limitless, where you'll find more details and can register to play. Theme Select: For each individual game of a best-of-3 match, the player must use a different Theme Deck. It's up to you which 3 Theme Decks you select and in what order you play them! Theme Banlist: The normal Theme format with a few of the most popular decks banned. Theme Stack: A more competitive Theme format. Players can "stack" multiple copies of the same Theme Deck together to create a more consistent decklist. Theme Unleashed: The most creative Theme format. Made this blaziken, sylveon zeraora deck! Been working well so far! I've got more than a few wins over top decks now! :D also someone let me know a name for it haha! Posted: 04 Sep 2021 02:21 PM PDT I wanna know what people think about this deck! It's suuuper fun to play, I feel like the zeraora card is so fun to hit with and it's going to be EVEN better post rotation without Mew! Sylveon adds another spicy card to the mix in my opinion. It makes it so when you have didn't have a hard hitting move for the active, now you do! With passimian, octillery, blaziken, zeraora and either two sylveon or a sylveon and a crobat, you can hit with sylveon vmax for 220! Then next turn another bench hit with zeraora. I also seem to get at least one ribbon badge for sylveon with only two in my deck almost every game! So sylveon is super useful to be dealing 220 damage, with no cooldown and only losing 2 prize cards when knocked out! Not to mention it's healing and accelerating energy attack! It isn't as useful as I thought it would be, however I still have used it a few times to give blaziken another go at hitting (when he has like 200 hp and you can't put him in because he'll get knocked out, you can heal 120 from him then throw him in next turn)! I was playing against mad party and a reshiram zekrom tag team deck, and neither of them had any items or stadiums that would negate abilities. Does anybody know what's happening?
