Giving away some Standard & Expanded Decks along with some extra Holos/Staples I'm not using! Posted: 07 Jan 2020 02:29 PM PST Hey y'all, giving away some extra stuff in my account that I'm not using; it would be better off in the hands of someone who was using it. Decided to have some fun with it! Each giveaway will be posted as a new comment in this thread. Place your reply under the comment. You may filter the thread by new so you don't miss anything. Some prizes will be open for a few hours and I'll randomly pick a winner, others are puzzles where the first correct answer wins. RULES
Prizes will be traded to you in-game, so you have to have a PTCGO account and something trade-able in your collection (a common card or energy will do). Also, I tip my hat to you if you took the time to read the rules; Thanks everybody for being part of this community and good luck! Hoping to help out some beginners here get started with a deck, and also hoping to give some more experienced players some bling! PRIZE WINNERS: More to come shortly -- sort comments by New to see the latest giveaways! [link] [comments] |

Card science questions? (answer as much of them as you can/correct me) Posted: 08 Jan 2020 06:53 AM PST 1- why is it optimal to run 8-6 card draw supporter, like why that number, i assume it's based on science? possible answer (correct me if im wrong) :- the odds of you drawing into a supporter on your first hand, using hypergeometric distribution, the number you'd come to is 8. 2-how many cards that search for nothing/ do not draw you more cards/ dont provide a bigger hand/situational should you include in a deck? here's an example if you don't know what im talking about: let's say you can run x infinity of any 1 card in a 60 card deck, in this example i'll use reset stamp, how many reset stamps can i put into my deck to the point that it wont disturb the flow or brick me? because reset stamp provides me nothing and is a dead draw, im talking about cards like these. possible answer:i have no idea and this is based on no science but i'd say 5. i know some of you would say "decks vary" and what not, and i understand, but the 2 questions i'm asking about are very objective, because all decks have "situational cards" and "drawing supporters". i appreciate all feedback. Posted: 08 Jan 2020 03:40 AM PST I stopped playing, both online and physical, around the time when Tag GXs (?) were just about to come out. Anything I should know? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 08 Jan 2020 03:07 AM PST Hi im playing ptcgo and im trying to collect every single eeveelution, so does anyone know what's the best way to get eeveelutions. Also one more thing, im trying to collect them using booster packs and not deck cards, so i want to know if its random or there's a certain booster card that gets you eeveelutions [link] [comments] |
I had PlusPower not work twice in different games, have someone else experienced the same? Posted: 07 Jan 2020 03:00 PM PST I built a Pheromosa-gx donk deck recently and have been playing it lately. I've had PokePlus not work in two different matches, both times I had kukui's effect too, idk if there's a problem with their interaction. Is it really bugged? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Jan 2020 03:31 PM PST Hey everyone, So I've been playing for a few months, I have an expanded deck that I've been working on which I enjoy. I feel at times it's a great deck and I absolutely destroy people, but then other times I get wrecked with no chance. Obviously it just depends how my cards flow, but was hoping that maybe people can throw some input on some improvements. What should I be trading away/collecting for the up coming Meta? Posted: 07 Jan 2020 10:50 PM PST I've never been good at preparing for meta shifts. Right now It seems like Metal and Water are the big decks out of the gate. What cards are good to get rid of right now, and to pick up? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Jan 2020 08:29 AM PST Hey everyone, I'm super new to PTCGO. Downloaded about 2 weeks ago and just finished the 2000 points for versus in theme. I'm not sure if I should move to standard or not yet. I've read a few times that a good budget deck is buying 2 LF decks and making a Malamar deck out of it. Is this still good for beginners or should I wait for the new set to come out in a few weeks? [link] [comments] |
Should x and y be included in legacy? Posted: 07 Jan 2020 05:20 PM PST To help curb the mayhem that is expanded and give previous successful decks a second chance. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Jan 2020 02:07 PM PST So I've gone to https://www.ptcgoguide.com. I am new to ptcgo, and to pokemon in general, and the way it grades cards confuses me. What are pack ratios? What does the RA, FA, SR, and AA mean? What are the numbers based on? Thanks to anyone that can offer any help! [link] [comments] |
Any improvements I could make for my deck? Posted: 07 Jan 2020 01:01 PM PST Basically a ultra necrozma battle arena deck that I made a few changes to. I may change out the remaining Tate and Liza for another Mallow and Lana, seeing as I never really use the shuffle cards back into deck part of their card. Also dunsparce isn't really useful unless I get it on my first turn, but I'm unsure what else I could really use there. Any improvements would be welcome ****** Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck List ****** Pokémon - 16

Youtubers (or websites) that cover legacy format Posted: 07 Jan 2020 08:28 AM PST I know legacy hasn't changed since day one unlike other formats, but I'm looking for a place that covers the format at least once in a while so I can try out new decks every so often. Any suggestions? [link] [comments] |
