    Where to start.

    Posted: 23 Feb 2020 07:38 AM PST

Ok so I am new to the game. I don't play physical because of where I live. Are there any products you would recommend for a new player? Premade decks that have competitive cards or are meant for pvp play? What sets should I go with? Any advice is welcome!!

    Damage counters not applying?

    Posted: 23 Feb 2020 07:36 AM PST

I've had this happen a number of times while playing my trevenant break deck or even with using distortion door giratina. Mostly against Zacian decks but sometimes against others. It'll apply damage counters to some of the bench but not against others. Is this a known issue?

    Easily Enhanced Expanded Decks?

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 08:15 PM PST

I've been out of the game for a couple of years now. I was wondering if any of the below decks are still competitive, maybe with modest updating? What replaces Puzzles, for example?

    - Dark/Gira/Yveltal

    - Greninja Break

    - Trevenant

    - Night March

    - Volcanion

    - Espeon/Garb

    - Zoro/Toad

    - Mega Ray

A Snorlax Vmax stall/ Tank due to his 400 HP when you add Buffpadding and Aspertia City Gym?

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 10:47 AM PST

So recently I've seen Snorlax Vmax as a attacker that does 300+ damage. So that got me thinking. Why don't we make a stall deck using Snorlax Vmax's huge HP. I mean with a Buffpadding and a Aspertia city gym his HP goes from 340 to 400!!! And with Mallow and Lanna along with other healing cards like hyper potion, max potion, and potion that can go up to 560 easily. I mean with those numbers it's almost impossible to KO unless you have an attack that does more damage times the number of energies in play (I.E. Lapras Vmax, Ray GX, Keldeo V, ECT).

So any ideas on a good expanded stall/tank deck using Snorlax Vmaxes huge HP?

    Quick reminder (post OCIC 2020)

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 05:26 PM PST

... that Welder is still the MVP of the format

OCIC 2020 just ended with both finalist decks using 4 Welders each:
    - 1st: Mew3 toolbox
    - 2nd: Fire toolbox

    Thoughts?

Dragon types also on the way out?

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 11:30 AM PST

I realise that fairy types have been discontinued but what will this mean for the future dragon types? Also some older dragon type cards have fairy weakness meaning they could be banned in the near future? I might have it all wrong so any input is appreciated :)

How to always complete the ladder on time

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 01:19 PM PST

Never expect and wait for your opponent to concede. Some people don´t want to concede too many times in a row and want you to knock them out fast.

Always focus on attacking. I had matches when I clicked done every turn and my opponent kept doing unnecesary stuff for 7+ minutes instead of doing 50 dmg and winning the game.

Play as fast as you can to get more victories.

If your opponent plays evolution deck, let him finish, he will concede.

Play a fast deck. 11 daily wins in 45 minutes is realistic, you will have more time for trading/other games/friends.

Learn to concede. Your opponent is doing 200+ dmg and you feed him your 60HP basics for 6 minutes, why? Your opponent is going to knock you out with a fast deck and you watch him for 100 seconds but why? I concede like 60% of my games within a minute.
