    PSA: Twin energy could make Weezing and Lost March semi-viable again

    So next set will see the release of Twin Energy. This card is basically Double Colorless Energy for non-V and non-GX cards. This means the following:

    - The odds of an imminent reprint of DCE just dropped immensely. No point in printing a weaker DCE if they intended on reprinting DCE later. If we ever get DCE again it will likely be years from now.

    - Rogue non-GX decks like Weezing spread and Lost March may become viable again. Not as tier 1 decks or anything like that, but as a super cheap way of getting a decent standard deck, since the loss of DCE was the main reason why these two decks just disappeared from the standard meta when rotation hit. Now, the prevalence of ADP really hurts these one-prizers and Weezing would probably auto-lose to ADP. However, Lost March has since rotation gotten the lost march Cottonee, which is a fairy type that hits ADP for weakness. This at least gives Lost March a fighting chance against ADP. I have played Lost March against ADP dozens and dozens of times in expanded where ADP even has access to double dragon energy for a turn 1 gx attack going second. However, I have had plenty of wins just shocking them with a turn 2 knockout with Cottonee since getting 7 cards in the lost zone by turn 2 is certainly possible if not super likely. In standard they can't gx attack on turn 1, so you effectively get an extra turn to get setup with Cottonee and 7 cards in the lost zone. Ironically, the single worst matchup for Lost March were spread damage decks, so Weezing possibly also coming back is going to hurt it, but as I said, I feel that Weezing will suffer badly from ADP being so prevalent and the loss of Tapu Koko also hurts.

    Playing against a lickilicky deck in expanded last night and at one point his bench and active are nothing but robo subs and poke dolls. No actual Pokemon in play. That doesn't seem right. Seems counter intuitive to allow a Pokemon game to be played without any actual Pokemon. I eventually won, but man it took a while.

    Unbeatable Greninja Deck

    The greninja card from detective Pikachu has and ability that makes it so he has a 50% chance to take no damage, pair it up with greninja break from breakpoint and will from cosmic eclipse, the wills make it so he can get guaranteed at least 4 turns in which he takes no damage whatsoever, sadly he is still vulnerable to damage counters.Sadly I don't know how to put images in a text post, I will post pics in a couple minutes

    Newbie question about trainer challenge

    Returning player after a couple years. After searching in this sub for a theme deck recommendation, I bought Relentless Flame and I'm very happy with it. I noticed that if you complete 12 wins in trainer challenge, you get an expansion for that theme deck, is it right? What cards could you get to improve the RF deck? Does it remain a theme deck after you add those cards? Thanks

    Best bang for my buck?

    Hi everyone, I've been playing for about a month and wanted to pick some brains about the best way to up my collection and what the most cost efficient way to get into the top tier online competition is. I've bought some codes in the past, and used a bunch of those packs to help get some jirachis. I'm currently running an obstagoon deck because of the resources I had available to me. I wanted to get y'all's thoughts on how to up my collection to try and build a pikarom deck until rotation, or something else that is relatively rotation proof. Is the best way to buy codes? Or should I start buying paper so I can try to flip some of those cards for cash and just use the codes? Tins? Expert trainer boxes? I'd love to see what your thoughts are, thank you!

    So I'm taking this nuzzle deck to a League Challenge that starts in a couple hours. Lets see how I do. Last second change of a 4th E-power in, taking out a ordinary rod. The ability to OHKO seems more important than getting some of the Raichu line back in the deck if a decent amount is prized.

    Game crashes On Mac
