Posted: 11 Apr 2020 08:00 AM PDT So I recently rediscovered my love for this slightly older archetype, but the deck definitely needs some upgrades! This deck has not been tweaked since probably about the release of Ultra Prism. Although the deck hits hard, is relatively fast, and mainly relies of one-prize attackers (but has some two-prizer spice thrown in as well), I personally feel that it's just a little bit lacking, and is capable of improvement. Here's the list: ##Pokémon - 16 * 3 Shaymin-EX ROS 77 * 1 Hoopa SLG 55 * 4 Xerneas BKT 107 * 3 Ho-Oh-EX DRX 22 * 1 Exeggcute PLF 4 * 1 Jolteon-EX GEN 28 * 1 Jirachi-EX PLB 60 * 1 Hoopa-EX AOR 36 * 1 Keldeo-EX BCR 49 ##Trainer Cards - 34 * 1 Computer Search BCR 137 * 4 Trainers' Mail ROS 92 * 1 Brock's Grit EVO 74 * 1 Karen PR-XY 177 * 2 Ninja Boy STS 103 * 4 Battle Compressor Team Flare Gear PHF 92 * 3 Professor Juniper DEX 98 * 1 Colress PLS 118 * 1 Fighting Fury Belt BKP 99 * 1 Guzma BUS 143 * 1 N FCO 105 * 4 Sky Field ROS 89 * 2 Float Stone BKT 137 * 4 Ultra Ball FCO 113 * 4 VS Seeker PHF 109 ##Energy - 10 * 2 Lightning Energy SMEnergy 4 * 2 Darkness Energy TK-Zoroark 3 * 3 Fairy Energy XYEnergy 2 * 3 Double Colorless Energy EVO 90 Total Cards - 60 ****** Deck List Generated by the Pokémon TCG Online www.pokemon.com/TCGO ****** For anyone who has not seen this archetype before, it's relatively simple. The goal of the deck is to use combinations of Ultra Ball and Battle Compressor to get Ho-Oh EX and one or two of each basic Energy in the discard pile, and then use Rebirth to put it back on the bench. From this point, one can utilize Ninja Boy to turn it into one of many attackers. The potential attackers include: - Xerneas (BKT): For anyone who does not know, this Pokemon deals more damage when more types of Pokemon are on the bench. Because I purposely run so many different types of Pokemon, as well as the fact that I run Sky Field, it is super easy to build up the damage, and one can deal 200+ damage by turn two (sometimes even turn 1!) consistently. - Jolteon EX (GEN): Hey, you! Do you want to counter GXes/Vs? Do you ALSO want to cover other speedy Basic attackers? Jolteon EX is the card for you! By using its attack Flash Ray, one can give themselves immunity to ALL BASIC POKEMON for the following turn. Although some decks like Mew^3 have ways around it by this point, it's guaranteed to throw a wrench into someone's day, so I'll take it. Just note that Jolteon is NOT immune to V-MAXes! - Hoopa (SLG): GX/EX hate. Most of what applies to Jolteon applies here as well, although it should be noted that Hoopa does not need to attack to stave off those cards. However, this comes at the cost of not being immune to V Pokemon (but I plan on updating this once such a card exists). The rest of the deck is mostly built around making this strategy as consistent as possible. Hoopa-EX is a big card for this, as it means you can effectively search out three EXes(!!!) off of only ONE Ultra Ball! One can dig for Shaymins to get extra draw power, Keldeo on the bench for the age-old Rush In/Float Stone strategy, Jirachi to search for a Supporter to refresh your hand (or ~ C R A N K ~ that Ninja Boy!), Ho-Ohs that could be discarded off of the effects of a Juniper and/or Ultra Ball, or maybe Jolteon if you just need an extra type on your bench for Xerneas. (NOTE: In this instance, it is optimal to run Jirachi over Tapu Lele, because not only is Jirachi searchable via Hoopa, but it also provides another type for Xerneas to hit hard; Hoopa already locks down the Psychic type in this instance) Everything else in this deck is to be expected (Junipers for draw, four VS Seeker, Guzma, etc.) I know this was a bit of a longer post, but I am thankful if you have fully read through this post! It's a deck that is barrels of fun to play, but just needs a few updates. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! [link] [comments] |
What are some great non-meta decks? Posted: 11 Apr 2020 04:00 AM PDT I wanna build some fun, but cheap decks to play with friends. I was thinking something like nuzzle or the 2x laser focus malamar deck. Any other ideas? [link] [comments] |

Is there any replacements for Victini prism for greens baby blacephalon? Posted: 11 Apr 2020 06:02 AM PDT I have been looking for one for a while now and can't seem to find one for a reasonable price. If there are any other mons I could use to replace Victini it would be great. [link] [comments] |

What’re some cards that are similar to Shaymin? Or how expensive is it packs wise? Posted: 10 Apr 2020 10:07 PM PDT You know the shaymin that allows you to draw cards or whatever? How expensive is that type of shaymin packs wise. Or what are cards that do a similar thing? [link] [comments] |
Need help with a Rayquaza GX Deck Posted: 11 Apr 2020 12:00 AM PDT Recently i got 2 rayquazas gx and i was thinking to make a deck with it but i dont have any idea on how to make it or where to search a deck [link] [comments] |
What is the best and quickest way to learn deck building for a beginner? Posted: 11 Apr 2020 02:57 AM PDT I've been playing online for a few weeks now. I played through the tutorial and now I'm just playing trainer challenge with pre built decks that I've purchased with coins or received from code cards. I've attempted to build a deck once but it was a complete fail and I'm just having a hard time figuring out what cards are good and which are bad when combined together. It's definitely much harder than I thought it would be. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 10 Apr 2020 07:33 PM PDT Returning to the game after a LONG time. I'm familiar with TCGs having played Pokémon, Yugioh, MTG and Hearthstone. Is there an updated tier list of themed decks to use for Versus and themed tournaments as I start to build my collection? Currently have the Lets Play Pikachu deck and wasn't sure if I should spend some coin on one or two more. Thanks in advance for the advice! And any resources you all use to stay up to date would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏽 [link] [comments] |
Posted: 10 Apr 2020 11:00 PM PDT I'd like to ask if I'm planning to trade my sword and shield packs to different packs how much would 1 pack get me? [link] [comments] |
