| Posted: 16 Dec 2020 10:39 PM PST I'm not sure if yall remember the old expanded Wailord decks, I've been away for a while and haven't ran mine since 2018. Well when I came back a few days ago I was disheartened to see many of the great cards that made wailord viable were banned. After a few days grinding for the cards I needed though im happy to announce wailord is back and tournament viable! This is just the beginning though, I'm hoping to put in a few more days grinding tourneys and trading and update the deck even further, I'll be sure to post a deck list once its finished (and I spend all my tourney tokens so I catch yall by surprise first). Does anyone else still play mill decks? I'd love to see a re-emergence of these types of decks, even if they've always been very niche. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 17 Dec 2020 02:22 AM PST So I'm pretty sure I have every card in the original Sun & Moon set, but it's not showing as complete. As I understand it you don't need the holo of every card. And secret rares don't count. The only reason I can see as it not showing as complete is because I have a secret rare umbreon gx and not a standard umbreon gx...so does that not count? I just rejoined the TCG after many many years of being away, and I'm wondering if there's a relatively easy jumping off point for getting a viable deck? I don't really want to start laddering or anything until I'm sure that I won't get completely crushed because I haven't put any money into it yet (besides the most recent zacian theme deck).
