    I am so excited to finally have a grouping that refers to EX, GX, V etc.! I feel this is something that PTCG has been missing for all this time and led to cards becoming bad before their rightful time (power creep) as well as some cards becoming stronger than they were meant to!

    Cards like alolan nineties (burning shadows) ability no longer works how intended, letting it get destroyed by V pokemon. On the other side cards like giant cape and brigette are way stronger than originally intended...

    What do you think about this new wording? I for one really hope its something they stick to moving forward!!

    Does anyone else wish they had a game mode where you could build your own deck but EX, GX, V, Vmax wasnt allowed. Kinda like build your own theme deck, would be a nice change of pace I feel like. Im kinda new so if there is such a thing let me know lol.

    I just got a Darkness KO for a challenge by fainting something using Spikemuth

    As the title says, that's what happened

    I was playing a Morpeko Vmax varient wich I'm not going to give away, so I can't have gotten it using any dark type Pokemon. Dark is the most fitting type KO for Spikemuth too... Maybe it's intentional!

    Why can't you have Professor Juniper/Sycamore/Magnolia in the same deck?

    title. I know it doesn't really matter but I wanted to know if there was any reason behind it. I got the free FA Prof Research but I had no other Research, just Juniper and it wouldn't let me put it in.

    Charizard VMAX deck tweaking for Expanded format

    Hello, I'm new to PTCGO (less than a week of playing time). Before this deck, I've played the default Reshizard Battle League Deck numerous times. In Versus I stumble lot of Pikarom/ADPZ/Centiskorch VMAX which is a lot of fun and challenging.

    Currently, I'm trying to build a Charizard VMAX deck which can pretty much one shot everything given the right cards in the hand but here are some problems that I stumble upon:

    1. Inconsistencies. If I get Volcanion and a Charizard V, the game is 60% winnable from the get go. However, if I start with Charizard V/Heatran GX, the building speed is slow albeit manageable.
    2. I felt like sometimes I need 2x Air Balloon or 2x Escape Board but I didn't have that card right now, mostly to retreat Jirachi.
    3. I'm thinking of adding 1x Dedenne GX & 1x Crobat V but I also don't have these particular card. I'm planning on getting Dedenne GX with the Trainer Toolkit though.
    4. I try to overcome some inconsistencies by adding 4x Acro Bike before. Didn't speed up the Charizard VMAX setup that well probably for half of the time.

    Since you guys are so well respected in this field, your recommendation would mean a lot to me. Please don't feel obligated if you aren't comfortable doing this for me. Many thanks!

    Durant mill, you either love it, hate it, or have never heard about it. (consider yourself lucky if you're the latter) I had the fortune and misfortune of playing with it and playing against it at its prime, and I've tried to help it live through the more current expanded format. I had pretty good luck until I left it (and Pokémon TCG all together if I'm being honest) and tried new things. I'm back and after trying my hand with it, I don't think it'll hold up too well now. So, I need a little help and thought this was the place to get it. Here's the list

    Do you feel like the deck manager's W/L counter is inaccurate?

    I have noticed that the deck manager isn't counting my games right. It still says that I have played the same amount of games despite playing for like 2 hours with the same deck. What gives?

    I am wondering which deck should I buy. I just started playing a few days ago and i dont really know, if there are any op decks. I already bought the new Charizard one and it is great. Now i have enough coins to buy another. I played twice against someone with a Dragonite deck and it looked like a good deck.

    Tournament prizes

    So I won one match in a theme deck tournament and I'm sure that constitutes at most the very lowest prize but I couldn't claim anything. When I lost it acted as if the tournament was already over and there was no longer a timer. Did I just forfeit my uncommon chest?

    So i have 2 decks built (ADP-Z and lucmetal-Z) and i still have about 60 viv and 15 daa. Should i get FA/RR of popular mons (zacian, pikarom, centi etc), FA supporters (Boss, Marnie, research), or items (quick ball, hammer, switch) and why?
