I was able to get my keys this morning, without a problem, but a buddy of mine who has been waiting to play in PC3 qualifiers also has not. | Is it common for people to steal your codes? Posted: 25 Jan 2021 12:45 PM PST So, back in 2018 I bought some boosters and two decks (don't remember the boosters, but the decks were Groudon and Sylveon's). Now, I didn't play ptcgo at the time, so I just kept the codes inside the deck box. Yesterday my mom asked for the rules, as she wanted to learn how to play, and with the rules I found my codes. I downloaded the game, rushed the tutorial and only wanted to redeem my codes. Upon reaching the redeeming screen, I thought that maybe they had an expiration date, and I missed my chance to reedem them, but did so anyway. If I had received an "expired" message, I wouldn't be here, but I instead received an error message saying someone else had already redeemed the code, and that really brought my will to play the game down. These codes were never seen by anyone besides me. I don't receive visits, and no one else goes through my stuff. Knowing that someone else stole my codes really makes me scared of buying new packs and stuff, as I can buy a pack with a code that has been already redeemed. Is this a common ocurrence? | Casual F2P player - what should I do with my tradeable packs? Posted: 25 Jan 2021 06:03 PM PST So I want to move from themed decks to standard and I'm starting to doubt that it's possible as a pure casual f2p player. Now I doubt that I will ever be able to build a top meta deck after doing some research - these deck are very expensive! for example: they run Crobat V and multiple boltund Vs which will, with all the other cards included, easily exceed 150 packs. So after seeing this I kinda gave up on dreaming using these top meta decks. by the time I collected all these packs by trading/flipping cards the meta might have changed already. should I just open all my packs and hope for the best - maybe get a secret rare quick ball that sells for 100+ or should I try to collect all staple trainer cards by trading packs and try to build a budget deck that somehow can be comparable to these expensive decks? I logged in to ptcgo b4 the 18th and I also have a player I'd and opted into terms of use.
