    Eternatus Decks in Expanded Post-G-Zapdos?

    Posted: 17 Mar 2021 12:02 AM PDT

Its viability in Standard seems to definitely be on the downturn after G-Zapdos but I see this deck pop up enough in Expanded to wonder if it will somehow still do okay down there. There are already tools people use to mitigate decks reliant on large benches, like Sudowoodo and Parallel City and U-Necrozma decks just cancelling their abilities, and yet I still see Eternatus pretty often on ladder. Are there tools that Eternatus Decks use in Expanded to counter these types of cards, or are they just praying they don't encounter those cards in the same way I hope to not see certain decks with the dumb decks I play in Expanded haha.

I'm also wondering how prevalent G-Zapdos will be in Expanded as a tech. I could see it having a good amount of use considering how common Crobat-V and Dedenne-GX are but I can also imagine some decklists being too tight to fit it in with an Aurora Energy. At least Spiritomb as an Anti-Mad Party/Night March tech doesn't rely on a specific type of energy. If G-Zapdos doesn't see much play then Eternatus doesn't have to worry about it, which would effectively mean its standing in the Expanded meta would remain ontouched.

I suppose I could be counting out the impact the Urshifu VMAXes will have on Expanded, as I've been more focused on their impact on Standard, but I guess that's another question entirely at that point.

Is there a way to use Old cards in Standard?

I mean like Lysander to replace Boss's Orders and the such. It won't let me do it.

Need help making Gardevoir VMAX more consistent?

    Posted: 16 Mar 2021 01:38 PM PDT

Gardevoir is one of my favorite Pokemon so I wanted to make a deck based around it. I used ZapdosTCG's deck list as a basis and made some tweaks, but I've been doing very poorly with it. In particular I find it very hard to accelerate energies onto my gardevoir; a lot of games end before I'm able to even set up and attack and I'm just desperate trying to draw into energy. Does anybody have any tips on more consistently getting my Gardevoir set up?

    Cramorant vs Eternatus VMAX :)

Any good standard decks for beginners?

    Posted: 16 Mar 2021 08:34 AM PDT

As the title says basically. Recently got into PTCGO and I bought some packs to trade with to build ADPZ and Eternatus but both of those decks feel much more difficult to play. I have been enjoying the theme format but I wanted to play an actual standard deck. Not looking for something brainless but something to just help me learn the basics

    Question about CPU battles

    Posted: 16 Mar 2021 02:37 PM PDT

The higher the difficulty, the higher it's luck, right? You will lose more coin tosses and they will win more? Also CPU will draw better cards more often?
