    Darmanitan V / VMax “takes no damage”question

    Was playing a Mad Party deck against a Darmanitan deck, and from the moment my opponent played his Darmanitan V, the green arrow lit up saying that card "takes no damage from attacks."

    It continued when my opponent evolved to the VMax form.

    Was that a glitch, or am I missing out on something about our matchup and the cards. I went over the cards and looked online in message boards and couldn't find anything on it.

    Any ideas out there?

    Should I open Battle Styles tradelocked packs? What will it be worth?

    Hello!

    I am very new at this, so asking for advice.

    Battle Styles releases in an hour or so. I have about 5000 coins to buy packs and have quite a few trainer tokens (Have been saving up).

    Q.1 : Should I use my 5000 coins to buy Battle Styles packs? If not, how many do you recommend should I buy (if any), and which packs you recommend I open otherwise?

    Q.2 : Will the Tournaments give out battle Style packs as rewards starting today?

    Q.3 : If the tournaments do give out Battle Styles, should I invest my tokens for Battle Styles packs, or should I keep them for a better expansion in the future?

    Q.4 : What do you reckon Battle Styles will be worth and will it keep it's value or decrease rapidly like Shining fates?

    I was convinced I was not going anywhere with this game after losing match after match. With hardly any cards for custom decks you have to use the provided theme deck which is... not great. I got the mental power deck and if you get Gallade out then sure you got the advantage but Gallade and miltank are the only real viable attackers in that deck and if you lose either then there goes the match.

    BUUUUUUT if you power through and finally get the 500 coins needed and dont waste em on boosters you can get a different structure deck which makes so much of a difference when taking on the other themed decks. As soon as I unlocked the charizard/lugia themed deck my win loss ration suddenly became more about me playing the right cards vs me hoping for a good opening hand/opponent having a bad hand.

    Sort of a vent but also an appreciation for the site in a way I guess.

    Relentless Flame vs zard theme deck

    Just started using relentless flame. I'm seeing a ton of the zard theme deck and have a hard time beating it. What strats do you guys use to win the match up or is the zard deck just that much better?
