    Hi I love playing Pokemon TCG during my downtime. However, my password was just saved so I forgot it, and now I can't log back in. I've tried the whole shebang of forgot password but it won't recognise my email address and I don't know which other one I could've used. So the last option is that it keeps telling me it might be connected through my Pokemon GO account which is just my gmail though I believe.. Has anyone had a similar problem? Also, I'm sorry if I'm not in the right place for this

    opponents quitting the legacy matches before the game even starts

    I want to play the legacy matches, but I just had 10 opponents in a row quit the match after flipping a coin and spamming "you have a good deck" and "well played" messages. Is it a normal occurrence in the legacy matches, or am I just lucky? Even though I rocketed thru the versus rewards ladder thanks to them, I'm really baffled because I really just want to play a legacy match :-(

    So 8 hours ago I was barely over the 820 for the chest. With a few breaks and only one really reliant deck I managed to rush the FA welder. Just needed someone to share with.

    Title should be self explanatory. I got into the game when I was 12 and put a really weird screenname thinking it was funny. I'm 18 now and after a couple years of not playing I've fallen back in love with the game. I don't want to make a new account because I've made so much progress on my current one but my screen name is so dumb and I can't seem to be able to change it. Any help would be appreciated. Thx

    Long time VGC player who is new to TCG, where do I go from here?

    So I've been a Pokémon fan for 2 decades yadda yadda, anyways I'm new to the TCG and balling on a budget (I want to stay online and spend as little money as possible.)

    So far I've been playing theme deck versus now that I'm done with my trainer challenge and I'm a bit disappointed with the format, but sometimes find myself having fun. Before I get really into this, what's the best way I go about collecting cards for a competitive standard deck?

    Right now, I'm vacillating between a few strategies:

    -seeing what cards I've pulled, choosing any of them good enough to build a deck around, and trading for cards/continue playing theme deck versus until I inevitably pull more cards I need (this is frustrating and very slow.)

    -Buy as many theme decks as possible and try and have fun in that format (not promising, but maybe I need diversity? I've only played with one deck and have done well but it's gotten stale.)

    -Bite the bullet and spend real money: what is the most cost effective way to even do this?

    I'm so lost and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    TL;DR What's the cheapest way to get a deck that can compete in standard? If the cheapest way takes 3-4 hours out of every single day of my life—how much money would expedite this process?

    [Newbie Question] Is there any point at having all Themed Decks as a begginer?

    Hey people, how you doing?Great to hear that!

    Going straight to the point: I started playing the game a few weeks ago after many years playing it on paper. So I started a new account played against bots and googled what to do after it. They told me to buy the Theme Decks, so I did.

    But here lay my question: I already got all the Tier 1 and some Tier 2 and 3 Themed decks. I was going to buy them all before start buying packs, but it reallys seens a big effort for a low return.

    Some of them are very weak, slow, lack staples that I really wonder if I should give any trouble in getting them. Is there any reason to pick them right now, or should I just forget that they exist?

    Bug with Teammates being useable in sudden death

    Yesterday, I was playing in expanded and a game ended in a draw, thanks to my galarian stunfisk V. The sudden death began, I had the supporter card "Teammates" in my hand and could use it without the condition. After hesitating cause I did'nt want to cheat, I ended up using it and winning. I can't remember if I draw the card or if it was in my hand at the beginning and at what turn I played it but it's a bug right ? Should I be able to use that card in sudden death ?

    What is the best deck with every Eeveelution? And how do I get the cards for it and how do I play it?

    Eeveelutions are neat. Its fun to have that diversity all coming from one Pokémon and a themed deck is the most amusing thing possible in my opinion.

    I'm willing to use anything else, provided it meets the criteria that it will contain:

    One Jolteon

    One Vaporeon

    One Umbreon

    One Espeon

    One Leafeon

    One Glaceon

    One Sylveon

    Presumably I'll need other Pokémon to fill out my squad, since I'll have six Prize-Cards and there is a limit of having four Eevee per deck.

    A bug or I misunderstand the attack description?

    The stadium card in the play, but he keeps dealing 80 damage, instead of 160, not sure why. Is it because it was the opponent who played the stadium card, and it must be me?

    Questions about Challenges on PTCGO

    Hi everybody,

    Two quick questions:

    For the challenges, does the game automatically not give you a challenge that matches up with one you already have? I've been holding onto one for a while in the hopes that a new one will match up and I could do both at the same time but I haven't gotten them together. I'm wondering if I've just gotten unlucky or if the system is designed to prevent that.

    Second question: if you have max leveled a type, will the game still give you challenges of that type?

    Is there any sort of evolution acceleration card in standard?

    I'm working on a deck and it's pretty interesting but a bit slow because I need a stage 2 to make it work and I was wondering if there's an evolution card in standard that can help, I know there's stuff like evosoda in expanded but nothing comes to mind for standard

    Which box would you buy and why?

    So my local games store had a few boxes today and it took me a looong time to decide which to get but I'm curious as to: 1) Which box you would choose and 2) Why or why not

    The Urshifu boxes both have 2 BST, 1 DAA, 1 CIN plus promo card, giant card, and promo energy

    Blastoise Vmax and Venusaur Vmax boxes both have 2 BST, 1 DAA, 1 SUM plus promo card, giant card, and 65 card sleeves

    Alakazam V has 2 VIV, 1 SSH, and 1 RCL plus promo card, giant card

    I ended up going Rapid Strike Urshifu V but now I'm not sure if I should have gone with a different box. Blastoise Vmax sells for more both online and irl but I usually trade packs moreso than cards.

    Let me know which you'd choose and why!

    Edit: Here to say I know I'm an idiot for not getting Blastoise Vmax and honestly would have had I known about the packs 😭 I might go back tomorrow tbh..
